I don't think I was at this one but I was there the next year in 2001. Had just gotten my Shodan under Toyoda Sensei the month before. I got to train with him once a month from Jan.-April that year. Then was in Palentine for his memorial service. Glad I got to see him so much back to back before he passed on. He is missed.

@purplesaxark1 He died :( I was taught by him before. He signed a paper for me in English and Japanese over 10 years ago, cool guy.

Sensei toyoda was my sensei's teacher. Never met him heard great things about him.
