  • no way those numbers are right

  • What? Those numbers have to be wrong.

  • You guys got to remember this is a Mustang or loaded dyno. Most Dyno numbers you guys read are fluffed Dynojet numbers. The widely accepted difference between a MD and a Dynojet is about 13%. So that would put the Mustang at about 478 rwhp. WIth 9psi it's a little lower than whats to be expected using the horsepower/psi calculation. But thats with just a bolt on and probably Ford Racing's bullshit safe tune. Im sure with a lil tweaking and slight upgrades im sure it'll make about 530 rwhp.

  • @00machgt agreed. they definitely have some tweaking to do. did you see how choppy the AFR was? not bashing them or anything. but that would be one the first things to fix. and some boost tweaking wouldnt hurt.

  • @FAKExANDxGAY Lots of power left in the combo for sure, however the boost, fueling and spark timing were as delivered by Ford Racing with the "625 HP Kit". No engine calibration adjustments were made during this session. For follow up, the vehicle was delivered to the customer before any adjustments could take place and I will not likely have the opportunity to conduct follow-up should the engine ever be re-tuned.

  • what kind of rims are those?? i got a black 5.0 too and those rims are awesome

  • @ChaseBrown06

The wheels are VIP Wheels status collection RG-2 with the red accents, a blue accent option is available as well.

  • @Darren5L Thanks for the info man i'm definately going to pick a set in blue probably for mine.

  • what rims are on that beast? their fackin sexy!

  • @Darren5L dang look a lot like the weds sport sa 55m's that I'm currently rocking. sweet wheels.

  • Just a bit of clarification on the dyno test, this particular MD-600 is a bit of a heartbreaker when it comes to generating numbers. For example, a factory stock 07-09 GT500 (500 BHP) will only put down 404 to the wheel on this dyno.

However the car does still appear a little shy on the dyno results, which may be a simple matter of belt slip, stay tuned for follow-on dyno testing.

  • Yeah I hope this is just initial dynos! I wouldn't be happy with all that expense for so little gains. Hell, guys are making 500+ HP at the crank now, with mild heads, intake, and cams. FWIW, I now wouldn't "invest" in a boosted setup on the coyote platform, unless I did a full, dedicated boosted build (e.g. lower CR forged pistons, billet rods). Just too cool to have big block power in a small block NA platform!

  • Somethin's not right with that dyno cause it should be way over 500whp (maybe up to around 600whp!) with those mods and 9psi from the supercharger. 423hp is not far from what they dyno from the factory.

  • Am I missing something? Only 423 rwhp with all those mods? This must be a mild tune, because I heard Steeda's CAI and Tune with everything else stock is putting the 5.0 a little over 400rwhp. None the less, beautiful car!!!! I can't wait till my warranty gets close to running out so I can add a supercharger.

  • sweet !!
