Melrose Avenue has changed so much since I was a teenager in the 90s. I used to love shopping there. It was great, because I could find clothing and shoes that no one at my high school were wearing. I haven't bought anything on Melrose in years. Most of the stores east of Fairfax have cheap stuff, that most can find at HM & Forever 21 for less. When I go to Melrose now, it's usually to dine.
Upscale shopping with high prices...should I be upset about this? I dont like Walmart, either. Either people cannot afford this mode of suburbia, or they are putting their money somewhere else. Set me straight about this development, since the video didnt explain the reason these type of shops go under or how it will affect the people in this area of the US. Thanks.
