When I first watched it I thought her performance was terrific vocally speaking but at the same time forgettable. I think that if she hadnt been from the huge state of Texas, she wouldnt have made the top 10, but she got very phenominal so thank goodness she was from Texas and not from one of the small states

yeah. her singing really looks effortless especially now that her voice grew a lot. it seems like for her. it's as easy and as natural as talking. and she is so adoooorable and honest and genuine and nice. for me, she is not just the best american idol but the best celebrity ever (comparing her to all the celebrities i've seen in my life). it's not just her talent but everything about her which places her above the rest (on my own standard of beauty and excellence).

I doubt kelly Needs ANY lessons from u. SIMON Cowell & BRYD (AI vocal coach) hav said that KELLY is the only VERSATILE MUSICIAN that came out of idol & is 1 of the MOST versatile singers ever. Her musical tastes RANGE from singin in Italian Opera (she's classically trained), country, Blues/jazz, pop/rock, R&B/soul, gospel(she grew up singin in church). On top of that she is a world-wide artist and has one numerous awards including grammys.
