that happened to me the first time i ever looked at the moon through my brand new telescope!!! i nearly jumped backwards thinking something was about to crash into me. since then its quite easy to find the paths of passnger planes and setup your telescope to get parity between yourself, the moon and aircraft

Whoa :D nice! When I look at deep-sky objects or planets, sometimes a satellite passes through my field of view. But I never saw an airplane flying through it. Good thing you recorded this.

Thanks. :) It's a Meade LXD 75. I'll find out the full specs (have to ask my brother) and put them in the info bar. Catching ISS is a whole other ballgame. It moves very fast and is not really easy to capture without blurring and stuff like that. I posted a clip of a ISS moon transit ( =MyDdTbAIKsY) my brother made. More of his astropics. can be found @ the URL in the info bar. :)
