I'm impressed. It's the patterens that strike me most. it means that your probably have somekind of matrixing in it to switch each one individually on and off and that connected to a microcontroller. Very nicely done, especially to keep it translucent while still not making it look like a wireframe mess like my junk yard devices tend to look like.

I can see such devices used in all kinds of places like dicothekes and clubs for instance.

If I had that in my room, I'd sit back and stare at it when I need to think.
