tip-In scarlets second phase it is best to use a knife and just go crazy constantly slashing her that way she can't knock you over.

it is generally a easy boss but at this point in the game alot of people would have used up their ammo and health potions on the siam+needlers therefore it puts them in a tricky situation

@LiveMotor i killed the bitch from the first try ! in the other hand i was stuck at the sewers where you fight 3 needlers and a siam for like an hour ... grabbing the serum in the earlier fans puzzle and the crowbar somewhere else before this boss helps you with the fight significantly !

@Grottomacy Use your shotgun. I can't remember, but 3 - 4 gun shots takes the siam down. They're actually pretty easy to kill if you have ammo.

@Grottomacy I hope you didn't save after you used up all your ammo. If you didn't go back and try again. If you really need to, start a new game. The police station is preeeeetty close to the beginning. I started a new game, and got past the police station in the first day I started playing again.

For all those having trouble getting past this:

Use the crowbar first.

When she turns into a spider creature, switch to the KNIFE and keep hitting strong attack.

@TheAimeex Amen, I'm playing this game on Easy and it feels like it's on Hard. They space out the Health Drinks too much; by the time I get one I almost always need to use it straight away, so forget about being able to save them for douchebag bosses like this one.

I can get past the first part, it's just the second part of the fight where I get pwnt. I'm gonna start avoiding her and waiting till she climbs up the wall and drops down to attack during that part, it might help in beating her.

to be honest this is probably one of the easiest boss battles in the game if you have enough rounds on both your fire arms to last you until the second round. It does get tough there with the dodging and all, however, its nothing more than what you'd have to face with a needler.

The voice acting isn't that good compared to Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3. I think the series died after the third game though, I mean the 4th one looked interesting. Americans can do games if they stop rushing through shit. The thing that made the originals better was the fact that, they knew how to tell a story. Silent Hill 2 made you care for James Sunderland and that one crazy chick in SH2 was PURE SUSPENSE. Silent Hill 3 made you question the motives of everyone, Homecoming? Yeah....

First of all: Thumbs up for the video. :-)To the game:The Story and Atmosphere on this part is fairly awesome, but for me the Gameplay was too much a frustration that i can say i really enjoyed this part, especially when scarlet crawls like a spider. I just never get the right time to roll away when scarlet jumps down, plus it often took so damned long IF she finally moved her freaky ass up that i almost stoped playing because it annoyed me so much. Finally i luckily got it, but: still too hard.

I think the scariest part of Homecoming is the music D: it's got this creepy-ass operatic stuff going on during the boss fights and it really adds a new element of scary, I think. It makes it feel like winning is hopeless, because of the hopeless tone of the music. It's amazing. Baw, I love it.

I noticed the editing (for time?). I'm stuck on this boss right now always get hit when that thing falls from the sky and I'm supposed to press "B". I only have one health drink, too.  I assume that if I dodge, I'll win this fight. Guess I'll give it another shot right now.

this guy took hella long to beat it. i recommend just using the crowbar the entire match. and when you make it go down from damaging its legs, just hold x, and the strong attack will bring it right back down. then you have to smack it a couple times until it goes to the roof on the second part of the fight, and dodge it three times. and you win.
