  • Thin hair. took 6 mons to get here. (and i got express shipping) f*** her high and mighty attidude telling me they're the best out there and telling me to buy more and its time for new ones. clips dont even work. bad costomer service. bad company! hair gets nappy in an hour! total waste of money!!

  • i purchased from hello gorgeous twice. first time took 2 months, second time took 4 months. definatly an awfull company.

  • THAT IS INFORMATION WE ALL KNOW ALLREADY. Automatic responses re-stating what is already on ur website is not helpful at all. It is completely unfair to your customers to give them a minimum production time, but no maximum time as to how long it would take to complete an order. The customers have no protection by operating under such production timeframes, regardless of the supposed quality of your product

  • okay so this is my bf account but I am currently trying to purchase hair extensions. For some reason when i purchased it charged me twice.I been back and forth between paypal and my bank and they said nothing is refunded. But Shannon tell me other wise. She tells me that both transactions are fully refunded and that she will not stop production of my extensions and she wants me to repurchase another one. which is bs because thats like buying three. I would agree with you. Bad customer service.

I really have no idea why she is still in business I would try contacting Paypal if thats the way you paid and getting your money back then contacting her via email letting her know you are contacting Paypal or that you did that is what worked for me. Its sad that you have to go through all that to get kinda okay hair extensions

  • if you r having trouble finding good quality hair extensions with good customer service for a good price i would suggest luxy hair extensions...i plan on getting mine this summer and they have unbelievable customer service...the company is owned by 2 amazing sisters that pretty much respond to all of your questions and they have a facebook and a site u can order them from...ive done a lot of research and out of all other hair extensions these r the best...i havent seen one bad review yet!

  • Go to her facebook and send her a message there. She normaly writes back because people post stuff on her wall all the time and within 2 weeks she replys may not be the fastest time but, hey atleast its still a reply.

  • Hi there, i've almost been waiting 4 months for my hair extensions now. I have tried to email shannon but it never works. I live in new zealnad and payed the extra money to get my extensions shipped. All i have is no extensions and my money gone! Can somebody please please please help me. What can i do!? :/

  • @horsefreakkkk That is a ridiculous amount of time I would try your best to get a hold of her on here and remand also not to have to pay 4 months is way to much time and with any other company I doubt you would have to pay after waiting that long. HAND MADE or not

  • I ordered my hair extensions about 2 months ago and have been emailing shannon the owner of the company for a couple of weeks now and haven't received not one email back from her letting me now if my extensions are even in the mail...At this point I'm worried that I'm not even going to receive my extensions..This company has the worst customer service...

  • I ordered a set of hair extensions...they arrived too late for an event. The extensions were amazing in quality, but did not match! Sent them back for exchange, they didn't even acknowledge that I sent them back. The new ones again aren't the color I want. I am being ignored. It's taken me over three months since the time I placed my order to end up with something that isn't what I asked for, and HelloGorgeous simply doesn't care. I will not EVER be dealing with this company again. Bad service!!

  • @TwishyCareastar It really is sad, as the product itself is such a good deal and yes, really nice hair and all that. But when you don't get what you ask for and their only thought is that "you can take them to a salon and have them dyed whatever color you want..." No, sorry, I shouldn't have to do that when I want something basic! Oh well.

    Also the complete lack of communication is what bothered me the most. That's not a good business Online! It could be a nice store if they fixed this issue.

  • @RNHull well if you are having that much trouble the best bet is to just go to a salon and have them dye the extensions your hair color

    there is nothing wrong with the HG extensions, I would just not recommend getting them when you need them fast for a special occasion or something.I ordered mine on Nov 10th and still haven't received them. However, I was expecting to wait because I did my research and they take a long time to make and ship internationally.Everyone I talked to told me they love them and they are worth the wait:)So in my opinion, HG are a great way to go but order them well in advance.

    that's understandable, I think we are all a little frustrated due to the lack of information on the extensions' status and shipping info.Mine have apparently been shipped already, but I talked to a few girls who ordered before me and they are still waiting :S. I guess if you are sick of waiting or need them right away you could always contact paypal and they will send you your money back. The only plus I see about HG is that they are personalized for everyone's choice of color

  • It's been two months since I ordered my extensions and theyre still not in yet and I'm not getting responses from Shannon. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend buying these extensions if they're for a special occasion because they probably won't get there in time. I doubt mine will!

    I finally received a response after 6 weeks that my exchange should he here by this coming wed. Nov. 24. So I'm crossing my fingers! :) I just realized I should have bought 1b or chocolate brown instead of jet black, but I'm certainly not going through the anxiety if waiting again! :)

  • I have contacted through email & only get an auto response, I contacted through paypal @ which I received a very quick response and was told that I would receive the extensions by last week,I did not it is about 5 weeks. I do not know what is going on. Not to mention I paid the extra money for a 48 hr shipment,I dont know why because it doesnt matter. guess it wouldnt be so bad if I actually had some sort of update. I feel like an idiot,&everyone is asking me.I will not prob. recommend. sorry.

To be honest with you though I learned that every time I inquired about them she would tell me I am going to get them that next week which when I finally gave up hope they came lol. Really wish I could help though. fb was frustrating because there were girls bragging about getting them only after couple weeks.

    hey, I know what you mean, Facebook is frustrating because you see girls getting their extensions before you when you ordered them earlier. I am still waiting for mine and ordered them on Nov 10th.However, I talked to a lot of girls about them and they are worth the wait. If you can't/ don't want to wait as long, try the Luxy extensions, they are supposed to be amazing and the shipping is free worldwide:)

  • YOU HAVE TO CONTACT SHANNON ON FACEBOOK IF YOU WANT A FAST REPLY.

    You have to give them a chance and have pacient. They are actually hand-sewing these extensions and custum made them specially for you. It also say in the info on their website that it will take 2-3 weeks to make them. It depends on when you order and when they get finished and the skipping in America dosen't take more that one week. If there is 5 weeks since you ordered, you can begin to contact Shannon. No after three weeks.

  • Finally somebody doing a bad review! I am so mad right now. I placed my order like three weeks ago and I keep emailing Shannon and nobody ever replies to me. They don't even have a working phone number. I wish I would know what the status of my order is but obviously that's how BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! I'll be surprised if I ever get my order.

  • For anyone having trouble emailing them, it's because they're having email problems. Message them on facebook on youtube.

    And as for time, they custom make them. If they have a lot of orders it's out of their control how long it takes.

    I ordered them and I love my hair extensions.

  • Just emailed Shannon again after getting a email over two weeks ago saying they were heading out in the mail and still nothing. This time filing a complaint with Paypal and other sites so that this doesn't happen to other people. I don't understand why there so bad at getting the extensions out but great at taking your money. I am so mad at myself for listening to all the reviews on here and getting them..... Anyone in this position should file a complaint with Paypal and get the ball rolling

  • Miss Tricia has recieved her gorgeous,handmade deluxe extension set. I'm sure it is going to look beautiful on her! It did take us longer than planned to make her set. We are a small, growing company and we are meticulous in the way we make our extensions. Every person that orders extensions from us will receive the gorgeous extensions they ordered. It just takes a bit of time as explained on our webite as each extension is made to order and not just pulled off a shelf from a giant warehouse :)

  • @HelloGorgeousHair I hate to say but being that it took a little over seven weeks was frustrating due to the fact that your website says 2-3 weeks to make and even if i had not paid for express shipping it still should not of taken four weeks to ship.I understand being a small business but it would be a good to be more upfront atleast to provide a better customer service. Its obvious that many ppl feel mislead on how long. you have a great product shame that the only down side is wait time.

I do understand that you are a small company trying your hardest to get your product out but I believe your customer service should totally be better. I think that If I could actually get a hold of someone I would have felt a whole lot better.. I think that is where you need to strengthen in your company as well as not taking months with the product....Trish

  • @PibbC They will come it just takes them about a month or more to get there. Shannon watches this review a lot and she will be in contact with you if you feel nervous about now getting them. You will get them they just take longer then normal and there worth the wait. The extensions that I am wearing in this video are Jessica Simpsons. I've been wearing her's on and off for 4 yrs but, I love to try all kinds. There great as well

  • I checked back here to see how things were going with this. If you weren't given a tracking number, they probably didn't send it. :( If the 978-xxx-xxxx number worked for an individual, that is a Mass. number, so the company may be based in that state. You could try filing a greivance form with the Mass. Attny. General (online even!). They may be able to help you or point you in the right direction for more resources to find the company or remedy the problem.

  • I have gone through a similar thing.I even ordered the express shipping to get them sooner. I ordered them on the 27 of last month. So there is something fishy definitely going on with your shipment. Their customer service SUCKED too.
