@rocafella142 they played the freyd ends of sanity on the "justice medley" maybe not the song in it's entirety (it was during the black album tour...you can see it on live shit binge and purge live in san diego '92) but a big part of the justice medley is freyed ends of sanity...i think they playd it on the justice tour also. as for ecscape I've never heard it live ever i've been a hardcore fan for 20 years (I'm only 27 lol) i just don't think it would be the same without james' 21 yr old voice

@midnight347 Metallica is an ongoing evolution, ive been to Nijmegen in holland 2009 and they blasted Phantom Lord flawless at the end. I read somewhere that they didnt want Escape on the album in the first place but were told to. I could be wrong, but its the only RTL never played live. MOP has been played in its entirety, To Live is To Die only parts, Struggle within from black. I dunno they even played Mercyful Fate 2 times in its entire lenght, i understand To live, but escape,struggle?

They've recently played Jump in the Fire and motorbreath fairly recently. I'm a little pissed we don't have a pro recording of this show. I'm not too fond if it live nowadays.

Trapped Under Ice has been played FAR more. When Hell Freezes Over was a working title for it. They played it ALOT back in '83. And They played it in 2004 too.
