I've listened to covers of 'goin down slow' from howlin wolf, ray charles, johnny winter, led zeppelin, duane allman, and others. After hearing this version from clapton, all that I have to say is... ugh! I do like clapton's tone here though, but that's all.
now, let me explain that i've seen a sh*t load of incredible shows, mostly from british classic rock n rollers, page and plant, u2, phil c., rod s., elton j., steve winwood, the rolling stones, def leppard, i could go on and on. but i have have have to say, clapton is my favorite!!! he sure as hell impressed me!! so bluesy, so passionate, so so so... i love you, man, i love you 4 ever!!!!
