I found my own soul listening to this incredible artist that I only first heard TODAY! Absolutely something incredible and I'm blown away.
Carol Miller played it on The Spectrum, and it has been years and years since I last even heard her. When Carol Miller said this was a incredible artists - I followed her cue to listen and am so thankful that I did. I've got to see him in concert someday. He reminds me a little of Roy Orbison with a twist of Dylan, but so much his own perfect sound.
this stuff makes me cry and i have seen it all with al.
he is the real deal.
when we met he worked at sound warehouse down the street from waterloo, and that is when we started hanging.
he is so amazing, it is hard to remember when we held real jobs...this is the war we fight everyday.
it makes me cry to know i get to go through it with these tunes.
al is truth.
a musical mensch.
i m so happy you posted these.
did you record his slow version of "people"?
