Fela spoke the truth all his life. Guess every nigerian will remember all he said. They are still happening today. He stood up for change. Long live Fela. you are a man!!!.
He came before his time. And even present times would have still been too early for his existence. Too unfortunate that only a handful could soak into his wisdom and reality talk. Long Live the EVERLASTING Black President!!!
It is a pity that he did not witness the inauguration of President Obamo. You are right that many people could not soak into his wisdom and reality talk. Fela naa greatest philosopher in my book.
@princessadekunbi1 what does Obama have to do with anything FELA was about? just b/c his father was black doesnt make him one of US. Remember who he was raised by and for....
His spirit was with President Obama because Obama helped his son seun kuti get his visa to come and perform in the states ... Fela has live on he's right he has death in his pouch because his spirit and music will live on ...
I wish I have someone to help my dead sisters' children to get visa to join me in the U.S.A. I learned long time ago that American Visa in Nigeria is given out when you have someone to "go behind and grease the palms" of the US immigration staff in the American embassy. The visa is not given base on compliance with the immigration application forms. These children are orphans
I never believe in fela and his music until one day I was relaxing and put his music by mistake since that day I stop going to chuch because religion has fulled us alot.
