Wow everyone, Stfu! She can make and/or eat whatever she wants. She didn't make this video for you all to tell her what to do, she made it to give us suggestions and tips.
i like you need to add more to frist dish in in side onins or somethang but really good and 2nd, one you need cream chese and fresh or frozon vegs, but it wsa fast to make how long did you leave it in 4
Good for you completing 2 meals at once and not spending a lot either. I couldn't get away with the amounts to person ratio at my home since my hubby is definitely a meat eater. He could finish all the lasagna himself so the kids and I would be quite hungry (smiles). Have you considered doubling the recipes and freezing half or saving that meal for leftovers later in the week? This method would also help cut down on prepping another meal that week.
These are not meals. They are starch, grease, protein and a bit of sauce.
A meal is a healthy salad with a healthy salad dressing. Plus a large amount off lightly cooked vegetables added to what you have cooked on this video. Smart people focus on nutrition, it isn't that much more expensive if you take on the wise hobby of growing your own vegetables. I've grown mine in big pots on my balcony.
Other than that, you have a nice video, nice presentation and the food looks yummy.
@menderfire9 I agree, these "dishes" although thrifty would never sacrafice nutrition. Vegetables are not expensive when you buy in season. I am a nurse and all you will get from eating these (too often) is heartburn cholesterol and fat! I loved the idea but the presentation was lacking any form of nutrition for a family, that being said I would make these for a snack with major veg additions, Thanx for the post hope Im not too mean you seem very sweet but I had to be honest.
Ground beef, one dollar a lb? Where on Earth do you shop? Mine cost a couple of dollars where I live here on the Coast. Of course this is a years later, so maybe it was a dollar back then.

ground deer meat is really low in fat so altogether pretty healthy. I'm sure she had veggies on the side too.

We do the same thing by halving our ground beef. We also have two and I use a loaf pan for our lasagna. It's perfect for the noodles.
