@AeonMagnus i read some passive aggression there buddy..... i didnt know what this was when i watched (half of) it. now that i do im just dissapointed that they were allowed to turn my fav show into THIS.... it was just a shock to find my ol friends' image being used
Between being annoying characters and having terrible voice actors, those kids do little to impress me. I'm not really a fan of how the Japanese Transformers series add all these cliche kids anime lessons. The American produced G1 isn't perfect, but at least it doesn't have a ton of annoying, hyperactive characters.
Oh yeah. I had to look up Proto Man but I get what you mean. Cos of the ponytail.
In the RTM 1 dub, she gets called Nightbeat the whole way through, but she's Minerva. I can't help imagining her ponytail getting jammed as she transforms to head mode. "Argh! Sonofa....."

Of course they're "allowed". Transformers is a partnership by both Hasbro and Takara.
If you don't like it, that's fine. Ignore it and don't watch it. Avoid anything in my channel with an HM, MF or V prefix.

And since when did they stop using "Seibertron" as the translation and stick with "Cybertron?"

Err... by Nightbeat, do you mean Shuta or Minerva? Shuta (Goshooter) is the police car, while Minerva shares a mold with Nightbeat.
I noticed that too about Seibertron. Presumably an error by the subtitle team.
