The original Hindi song is "Chanda se hoga woh Pyaara" sung by Lata and Srinivasan from the movie "Main Bhi Ladki Hoon" 1964, hear it in the original, it's lovely , but I think this song in Sinhala "Chandra Me Ra Paya" is very popular in Ceylon and still a song sung at every occasion, like here and they have done a lovely job in copying the song, I love both the versions.
