@CayceeStarr Thanks for the support man and the kind words, really means a lot :). Having individuals like you in the community is great! Hope I can count on the continued support!
Great review. That was a good piece of information you gave about the ear piece loop being made of some un-stiff material. I like tidbits like that. How is the sound for calls and A2dp compared to Jawbone Era. I'm going to buy one of them and I'd appreciate your opinion.
@theimmaculatecrown I would say the Era is better than the BlueAnt with regards to calls. Clarity was better in my opinion on the Era. Hope this helps!
@onelove88886 Sorry about that, in the future I will take that into consideration. Charging was simple (micro USB connection) and connection to the phone was like any other bluetooth device: put it into pairing mode and have your phone detect it. Hope this helps!
BlueAnt Q2 is a bad bluetooth. I have had 3 of these bluetooths but the problem it has is that the Mic does not work as well. People I call cannot hear me when I talk. I will not buy this Bluetooth at all. I rate it 0.5 star just for its capability to stream audio from your mobile handset
I have this & I like it. My friend gave it to me because his mom was being a cunt and didn't want it. SO that was nice of him. He bought it for $120 at the verizon store. @ 4:18 sounds like you got a brain fart there.
Holy shit, why do reviewers mention every stupid thing, like hey this is the box! ya we can see it with our eyes, you dont need to tell us its a box... or the little bag, you dont need to spend time talking about the little bag, seriously reviewers are insanely annoying because they over do it.
@Kittysafe Sorry you feel that way, but I actually hear about the other issues like not covering those aspects enough. Thanks for the input and comment!
Having purchased a few Blueant products my advice is: don't. Their echo cancellation does not work and customer service is terrible. I have had noting but bad experiences with Blueant. I have never had even a reply from customer service.
@Onanation Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with them. Their performance for me has been good (the BluAnt Q2) however there are others with better performance (Jawbone Icon/Era). Thanks for the comment!
thanks for the review! I already own a Blueant T1 (the rugged headset) and now I am looking for a bluetooth headset for work. I work from home so some days I need to place phone calls all day long.
For that type of use do you know if it is good? I was checking the Plantronics Voyager Pro+ which seems good as well but my Plantronics never lasted me long because of poor quality materials used by Plantronics.
@Victortrotska I would suggest taking a look at the Jawbone Era or the Icon, those have worked wonders for me. The BlueAnt Q2 works well also but my personal favorite is the Jawbone Icon. Hope this helps!
@TekBeatTV Thanks for the advice after watching another video as well I'll get the Jawbone Icon. Jawbone's noiseassassin technology seems to fit my need as I often drive and my car's bluetooth quality suc*s (and to keep call privacy).
@TekBeatTV Eventually I did get the Era. I've read some comments that the Era is even better. I just received it today. Bought it for roughly 120$ + free shipping.
I'm in France those are priced here 170$ + shipping. So pretty good deal buying from the US plus very fast shipping via FedEx.
I tried it out watching a serie and in the car with the radio the other person almost only heard my voice. The background nosies suppression is very effective.
@a1r9a83 Hey, you might want to check out the Jawbone Era as well :). But between the two I would say they are both pretty good, I like the Q2 more only because the ear piece is not as large :) Hope this helps!
Love the Q2 for clarity and most voice commands. I have it paired with a new LG GR500R, which, by itself is also great. However, I am having trouble figuring out to make calls via phone commands. All contacts reside on the Q2 and the cell phone. I am a little frustrated ....Help available?
Good stuff here great video, very professional content coming from your channel I've been thinking for a while about the Q2....gotta jump on it. -Sean
Also, BlueAnt headsets aren't limited to just US and UK, they're sold around the world and each country would have its own plug style. So it makes more sense to go the route they did than make your "flip-style" adapter.
The power adapter is the way it is probably because it allows you to change the female connection if you are to travel around in Europe; secondly, it would most likely be sold in Europe and is cheaper for BlueAnt to create the main AC adapter and then different plug attachments.
hello! i was wondering if you could help me with my problem. i couldnt connect my BlueAnt Q2 V1.0 with my mytouch 3G though i'm not sure if this thing is compatible with my phone.. thanks and hey i like your presentation very clear and helpful thanks again and hoping to hear your response soon..
@TheBoombee Honestly it should pair fairly easily through the onboard voice commands (instructions via the BluAnt). I would try resetting your phone (clear all bluetooth devices as well) and try again. Hope this helps!
Are you able to speak a command like "Navigate to Best Buy" on Droid X to access your gps without having to click on the google search icon on your phone? Thanks!
Does this headset give a clear sound when paired with the iPhone 4? I've read where many people are having problems with good incoming and outgoing call quality. The people they talk to say the headsets sound muffled. If you are able to get 20+ feet away from the iPhone, that's much better than others are getting. Thanks.

@johnnie2130 It's iPhone 4's Bluetooth problem. Maybe due to the antenna design. I had the same problem for ALL of my Bluetooth headset on my iPhone 4 where the voice sounds like inside a tunnel or under water. They don't happen all the time but it's RANDOM. I've tried Plantronics 925, Plantronics 975, Jawbone 2, Jawbone Icon, Blueant, etc. Basically iPhone 4 is FLAWED!!!! I've returned my iPhone 4 and go straight back to iPhone 3GS.....

@techdude6693 Yea it is pretty cool :). I also have a bluetooth in my car as well but when I'm in the home office taking phone calls the bluetooth headset serves me well :).
I hate allof the blueant earloops--the design is so stupid. But..did you guys know that you can use the JAWBOnes earloops ( which I love so much) on all of the Blueant Q1 & Q2. The jawbones earloops are so nice slim and fit really nicely.
So which one you like better? the jawbone icon or the Q2? i have all of the JAwbones and i'm not a big fan of it. I returned all of them and got the bluent q1--which is okay...but then i bought another one is the rugged blueant T1---that is the nice one.
@soon0rlaterz Hmmm I would say that my favorite is probably still the Jawbone Icon only because the earpiece is better (tension loop) however if you could combine the integrated charging sign of the jawbone and the earpiece with the Q2 voice commands you'd have a winner there ;).
Nice headset but I hate that charger, why not just use the compact flip chargers you know? I don't use my bluetooth headset often but it works nice, it's a little Jabra that came packaged in with Warhawks for the Playstation 3 a few years back. I'm shocked it still works. lqtm
The reason you have the adapter in two parts is so you can ship the same adapters to all regions and just change out the head.
