They were supposed to launch the channel around 2008, but due to budget problems including the separated channels of The-N(now TeeNick) and Noggin(now Nick Jr.) including the cancellation and elimination of Nick GAS, they were unable to afford to make the Nickelodeon Rewind channel on their budget so the new channel may not happen anytime soon...

When is this said channel going to premiere? I wish Nickelodeon could at least create a programming block that replaces Nick Jr on Nickelodeon and airs programs such as, Kenan & Kel, My Brother and Me, Taina, The Brothers Garcia, and others. Nick Jr has a channel, so I see no need in still having the block on Nickelodeon. So it should be replaced with a "Nick Rewind" programming block.

Well, Nick Canada just came out November 2nd and they are running some old shows like Rocko's Modern Life and the Angry Beavers. Which is good because YTV is just crap and I couldn't take it anymore, Spongebob used to be good in the first 2 seasons now they're just trying to make Spongebob as gay as they possibly can... seriously have you seen the newest eps.... I really don't think it is nessesary.

Nicktoons Network is kinda crappy now. When I got Directv back in 2007, it did have some of the old Nicktoons I enjoyed, but now Nicktoons Network is quickly turning into a Nick 2 by adding stupid new cartoons like Making Fiends, Iron Man, and the new version of Speed Racer. The only time I watch NN is when I record the channel overnight on my DVR, at least they still show Ren and Stimpy, Rugrats, and Chalkzone. But as for the rest of the network, it is not even worth watching.
