Very powerful, and very honored to be a member of a LE Honor Guard. I have found and "liked" the facebook page- Medals, Flags and Memories. . Also very impressed with the ground crews removing hats, and hand over hearts as the plane is grounded
As a ride captain and now the Arkansas state captain for Patriot Guard Riders I have witnessed several Kalitta charters. I do okay until I see a Momma hit th' tarmac or drape herself over the casket sobbing over her baby's arrival home! Man! Its why I wear the mirrors! Just gut wrenchin'! Wish I never have to see another one!
Wow! I wanted to share that this reflects the honor of a law that my husband and I had passed through Congress. In October 2006 “The Holley Provision” was signed into law by President George W. Bush as part of the 2007 Defense Appropriations Bill. @yamahonkawazuki I have watched lots of videos and seen the Patriot Guard run escort for a funeral here in my home town and I have the utmost respect for the job they do and the respect they give our fallen heroes. Thank you for being there to honor them and their families.
I have been to a couple of Angel Flight landings as a Patriot Guard Riders Ride Captian. The Kalitta Charters crews are beyond top notch. I have also met the owners of Kalitta Air through my afilliation with drag racing (I am a former track official at a few NY tracks). All of the Kalittas are great people.
As a former USAF Office and current Patriot Guard Rider I've witnessed a number of Kalitta Angel Flights. It makes me very proud to be a small part of the aviation community to see the care and professionalism taken by Kalitta and the Military when flying our fallen sons and daughters on their last flight home.
for all this is a great effort to take care of our military that fought for our freedom. as a nam vet I'm proud for the honor you give our brothers and sisters that payed the ultimate price for our freedom.

For those interested the clip was made from excerpts of 3 youtube videos. Sgt Emerson Brand, Spc Joseph M Lewis, Corporal Gregory Posey. They did not pick the fight and we should never forget their sacrifice.

@cindymora59 Thank you for your comments and I hope your son is home safely if so thank him for his service for me please. I maintain a web site for a 21 year old Marine that was killed in Iraq in 2006. My hope is that some day these flights will no longer be required.
@tmac4423 The Holley provision made it mandatory that the fallen soldiers body be flown on charter flights and that an honor guard meet the plane, Mr. and Mrs. Holley got the Pentagon to change its policy of having the soldiers flown in the cargo holds of passenger planes.
