It was my pipe dream to interview him and sit at a piano with him playing and discussing music...Weirdly...earlier this year I was playing nobody does it better on a piano while a girl sang the song...after the concert this guy comes up and says pity about John Barry passing away...guess you did that as a tribute....My heart sank a thousand miles....

A quick message to say thanks for posting this clip of one of our favourite musicians - RIP Mr Barry. Had the pleasure of seeing JB at the Royal Albert Hall in May 1999 with a special young lady. Top concert and she loved every minute (so did I). 20 minutes of Bond and a haunting Out of Africa theme - wonderful. Like many, was sad to hear news earlier this year. Your music will inspire many in future, Mr Barry. God bless you.

Why would anyone dislike this for Godsakes. The only thing I dislike is that we don't have John barry anymore. I have been in a state of depression since I found out he passed away just a few weeks ago. So, so sad. Rest in Peace John, you will always be an Icon in music.

I saw him at the Albert Hall in 1999, he did a night of his music including a Bond section but also Beyondness of Things and guest was Chris Botti the trumpet player they did a section from a score to Playing By Heart (good film) - he was an absolute legend, his music touched so many people's hearts.
