The regime's treatment of Falun Gong is disgusting
Its about time the west got some backbone and made it illegal to stop peaceful groups like Falun Gong participating in Chinatown parades.
Its like the gang of Chinese nationalist thugs who surrounded and harassed a young Chinese woman at Duke University in the US simply for trying to mediate between them and Tibet protesters

I agree US cops can be heavy handed and they have too much power but there is hardly a comparison between that and the sort of oppression that takes place in China

The occupuss(ies) are not a threat; they only want food and attention and have taxpayers spend millions to clean up after them. Therefore, there is no need to torture them to death. In fact, they look like they're having a good time, one might think that they're being paid to do what they're doing :D

The belief of non-violence is a threat to violent oppressors. Cause if those beliefs catches on, they would have no means to exercise control through violence and fear.

If i pose myself as an atheist, wich i am in fact, i set myself up as an antagonist towards theists. Now if i pose myself as a human being, i can align myself with the theists as human beings. There i have removed the conceptual barrier, and we can find a way to live alongside eachother, peacefully and respectfully.
The same goes for those who practice falung gong, and those who support the party.
