If you don't know the difference between the JACKSONS and the JACKSON 5, don't even bother commenting my video about not knowing their music, etc. Because it's really making yourself look like a fool not knowing that the JACKSON 5 and the JACKSONS are technically two different groups. The JACKSON 5 were run by Motown, making them taking control over their music and rights etc, and the JACKSON 5 really didn't like the idea of motown having babysit them with ever music ever made so they wanted

@killernay I thought that they were called The Jackson 5 because it was their very first name from their father, and it included the originall jackson males (Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Michael and Jermaine) But Jermaine (or Jemaine, I honestly dont know) quit so he could be with his wife (Hazel?) And Randy before Jermaine quit was born. Randy grew up and the Jackson brothers all came together without Jermaine and started a group called the Jacksons. This is the theory i use because your is complicate

Those are Jackson 5 songs.The difference between those two is that when they were Jackson 5, they didn't like what Motown was doing to them, not making own songs etc. So around 1976, they lefted Motown and joined CBS where they had complete control over their music. The only difference in the group is that Jermaine at the time didn't left Motown, so he was replaced by younger brother, Randy and that's how the Jacksons was formed. :)

Joseph should have died instead. he was one of the reasons michael's life ended up like this. Michael was such a beautiful person and Joseph destroyed his selfconfidence and made him insecure. Michael deserved so much more

Regardless, it's still not the same group. You can't jam together songs from 2 different groups. I mean the change was significant enough: a dropped member, a new member, a new name, and a new label. The Jacksons have their own set of albums, and the Jackson 5 have their own set of albums. I can tell, you know the difference between the 2 groups though, and a lot of fans don't (ugh). By kilernay distinguishing them as the 2 seperate groups they are, she let's you know she''s an informed fan.
