This (and other losses) was 100% on Andy Reid.... doesn't matter who the QB is, his system/personnel preference is not built for playoff runs. I've seen Andy Reid with at least 5 different QBs playing three or more games (McNabb, Garcia, Vick)... all differ in play style, same results. I'm more mad that McNabb's prime was wasted with the worst receivers in the NFL. And yet... he had a top 3 TD/INT ratio.
@DrClaw77 ikr fuckin pisses me off i always thought they shouldve fired reid after that super bowl and it is sad that his best years are down the fuckin drain because of andy reid not attempting too get a great reciever shouldve stuck with T.O
He tried to blame it on T.O. Every1 who saw that game should know it was McNabb's fault they lost. Brady gets most the credit for winning so Nabb gets it for loosing. He couldn't get the team set quick enough. T.O. was clearly the reason they got there and had a chance to win
Why do people insist on making fun of Eagles because they have no Superbowls? So what...like really at least were die hard fans and not band wagoners...by the way.....I ain't those trashy Philly fans that insist saying are the best.....Eagles aren't the best neither are the Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, etc. Every team has their years.....Eagles just haven't had their year yet..
Sorry guys but looking at the stats McNabb is the opposite of garbage. He is 3rd in the NFLs history in TD to INT ratio. Steve young and Brady are the only ones ahead of him i think. Say what you want about the team choking in the post season but you cant say it was his fault. Its a team sport and their team never had it and wont for a long time.
@LETSGOPENS92 Well said, somebody has a brain in here!!!! His stats for his career are awesome... His winning percentage in the post season is amazing too.
Peyton Manning is also (barely) ahead of Mcnabb, though Manning also has almost 2,000 more attempts which makes his a bit more impressive. Aaron Rodgers on pace to be there easily in a few years as well. ( I mean he is already, but it's only been 4 years so meh)
the eagles will get one soon i know vick is doing great espcially for this season for being a starter for the first time since what 2006? all we need is a better defense especially in the red zone and then wel win the super bowl
@daltontroy26 ahahahah look how that turned out VICK = 100 MILLION DOLLAR FUCK UP!!!!.. No matter how much Philly fans hated McNabb he was the true face of that franchise and they treated him like shit. Coming from a Cowboys fan i respect McNabb and Dawkins the most out of entire Eagles' franchise
Greatest QB in eagles history. To bad the eagles really never were balanced on offense. Blame A. reid. If he would have had a better commitment to the run game donovan would not have had to do it by himself like he did all those years. The coach never learned and made DON sling it 30+ a game. I love the eagles but we'll never win as long as reid is the coach. we will never have a real run game under him, and for that the eagles will never have balance.
Talk about ungrateful.I see alot of fellow Eagles fans on here bashing Mcnabb it was because of Mcnabb we were so competetive for so many seasons and made the post season so many times.Of course the loss to the Patriots in superbowl 39 will always hurt. But football is a team sport and clock management can be blamed on the coach as well as it can Mcnabb.Mcnabb took us to the NFC championship games most of the time with mediocre receivers.Tell me the name of another Eagles QB who accomplished that
@ToBaCa12 bkoz he was wide open. He was playing his heart out on a bad ankle, and the patriots could not cover him. Ofc he wanted the ball if he were open, not to mention McNabb throwing picks, when he had T.O open. If T.O was 100% you would've won. If he didn't play you would've been blown out. Owens just had a determination that night. He wouldn't quit.
@GTAMoviesAndFlix how would u know its called teamwork obviously T.O. wanted all the passes and McNabb wanted other players to get passes but T.O. was selfish and complained the next season
@ToBaCa12 Because the eagles had no other WR nears T.O's level. Even on a bad ankle. Call himselfish but he risked his career to play in that game, because he knew him playing was their best chance of winning. T.O shredded a great defense on a bad ankle. Selfish would have been not playing because he didn't want to risk his career. He rehabbed his ass off to play in that game. Had it been Tom Brady who came back from that the praise would still be going on.
@ToBaCa12 being good and being on T.O's level are two completely different things. T.O is arguably the second best WR in NFL history. Neither of those two could shred a defense like that on their best day. T.O did it hurt. Notice Mitchel was the one who bitched after the SB. Where is he now? He's 32 T.O is almost 38 and still playing good. And if ur referring to James Thrash he wasn't in phili on 2004.
@ToBaCa12 L.J Smith HAAAAA. Where is he now? His Career went down the tubes. NO ONE the Eagles had were on T.O's level. and quotes about not getting passes are you referring to T.O or Mitchell? Because it was Mitchell who bitched after the SB. Hate on T.O But he was a worrier that night. He left it all out on the field. But No one talks about it. Call him w/e you want, but without him there is no SB for the eagles.
@ToBaCa12 Yeah cuz reid hasn't helped Mike Vick become a better QB than he ever was before or anything. Reid is a good coach. He's great at developing offensive talent. I just think the eagles need a new D coordinator. McDermit just isn't the guy.
@ToBaCa12 Let's fact check reid's tenure shall we... 107 wins 10 playoffs .618 winning pct. All best in team history. 6 Division titles. 5 trips to NFC Championship. Most divisional round appearances 7. 19 Different players to 44 Pro Bowls... and not one of these players had ever played in a Pro Bowl before. Twice Maxwell Football Club coach of the year, Twice Sporting News coach of the year, Ap coach of the year.
there is video evidence of him puking. what a moron. enjoy washington dc, youre getting the most selfish, manipulative, passive-agressive athlete in sports.
At first, I couldn’t figure out a popular adult star having personal services listed online showing him based in JACKSONVILLE, Florida. It’s usually NYC or L.A. Then in July 2010, several years after the fact and after all traces of the JACKSONVILLE ad had disappeared, it occurred to me. But to get there, you have to consider how much Jake SAMMS resembles the offspring of the RED CEDAR LN dweller (who was at 766 on Super Bowl XXXIX Sunday) and HOF porner JAKE Steed. RICK WYNN evokes H.L.G.
The RED CEDAR LN moralists would probably simplistically point to frequent porn rental as the reason you are not a home owner. I say, fuck the meddlesome dumb ass. But unexpectedly seeing his offspring on Super Bowl XXXIX Sunday (2/06/05) came hours after a 50-mile morning bike ride to check the “home” mail. This tidbit fits nicely with the offspring’s doppelGANGer, Jake SAMMS, starring in 2006’s “Black Cocks in White Jocks” in which he bones in a SHED with a YELLOW MAGNA bike in the background
So, the JAKE SAMMS look-alike showed up at 766 on Donovan McNabb’s Super Bowl XXXIX Sunday (2/06/05). McNabb was scheduled to appear on “Late Show with David Letterman” 289 days later on the 42nd anniversary of JFK’s assassination: NOV. 22, 2005, but did not appear. 1982 days after XXXIX on July 12, 2010, frequent 1980s Letterman guest hARVey Lawrence peKAR died in CLEVELAND HEIGHTS (where congresswoman STEPHANIE TUBBS JONES had driving difficulty on Bill Clinton’s 62nd birthday: 8/19/08)
I suspect the STONE CULT is responsible for everything that’s gone wrong in my adult life (1989-). Unrelated: William D. Mason (b. 1959 in PARma, OH) succeeding STEPHANIE TUBBS JONES as cuYaHOGa County, OH prosecutor in 1999. marCIA FUDGE succeeded Jones in congress. That FUDGE was succeeded as WARrENsville Heights, OH mayor by CLINTON HALL is unrelated to Jones’ 2008 candidate, HILLary rodHAM CLINTON or 1980-81 4th grade teacher WARrEN—despite FUDGE’s law degree from cLEVELand MARsHALL C.O.L.
Donovan McNabb doesn’t have his own comic book. Frequent 1980s David Letterman guest, hARVey peKAR, created “American Splendor” comic book. Striking the “H” from hARVey would make an “ARV” start, evoking the RED CEDAR LN offspring who studied animation and either aspired to or managed to do animation professionally (who the fuck knows, cares?). The point is, drawn characters brought to “life” fits nicely with animated “real world” themes, just as bART SIMPSON is perpetually stuck in 4th grade
Jesus H. Christ: hARVey peKAR was a frequent 1980s David Letterman guest (along with cats that wouldn’t eat with chopsticks on command for Stupid Pet Tricks). Strike the H from hARVey for an ARV start, evoking the RED CEDAR LN offspring. Ask me no questions: marCIA FUDGE as mayor of WARrENsville, OH could remind of the other 4th grade teacher in 1980-81, but the common “Mc” in Donovan McNabb & McClean reminds that McNabb would be as mediocre driving tractor-trailers as he is playing quarterback
Donovan McNabb nor LeBron JAMES has won a championship in his sport. But “American Splendor” animator hARVey peKAR’s death in CLEVELAND Heights, OH on JULY 12, 2010 came four days after JAMES announced in “The Decision” on ESPN, his intent to leave an OHIO team (CLEVELAND Cavaliers) for a FLORIDA team (Miami Heat). This could evoke charges of Republicans stealing presidential elections in 2000 & 2004. JAMES (b. 1984) shares a 12/30 birthday with “IF” author JOSEPH RUDYard kipLING (b. 1865)
Corey DILLON has a surname matching DILLON, SC, home of South of the Border. SIMPSON on NOV. 25, 1976. Simpson’s record came as his Bills visited the Detroit Lions on THANKSGIVING DAY, losing 27-14. NOV. 25, 1976 was also day NFL QB Donovan McNabb was born in Chicago
NFL Cincinnati Bengals RB Corey DILLON set an NFL single game rusing record with 278 yards in a 31-21 win over the visiting Denver Broncos on OCT. 22, 2000. fuck all of you unapreciate fucks.u go out there and play qb with a city that hates u and no runninggame.mcnabb shouldnt be gone it should be coach reid
Nowhere in this clip does he answer why he was casually walking up to the sideline with seconds left in the game. If you didn't want to use a timeout then why were you walking?
What does Terrell Owens wanting to stay in the game have to do with this? Are you guys that disorganized? He's the number 1 receiver. Dude played a good game too.
This clip confuses me. If you didn't want to call a timeout then where was the sense of urgency?
This clip was just an Example of how McNabb is in the Playoffs. Fumbling words, looking for a quick story to tell his Excuses for his Playoffs Failures.
Nervousness, throwing up on the field and not knowning the rules of Overtime.
@gfscarface13....actually if you look inside the numbers, if you're gonna call him a "choker" the defense choked way worse. Truth is you can't make McNabb the scapegoat for every loss, which is what people do. Plenty of issues to point out
@gfscarface13 nervous before the game?? wow stfu with that bs. I would LOVE to see any qb play for a coach who yes is very good and has a winning percentage BUT is perdictable and dosen't know what a RUN GAME IS! so keep on blaming it on McNabb
@ManhattanProject9....I had that question too..but not as it related to McNabb necessarily to be fair. Why after the 2 min warning were there no time outs being called ?? I didn't get it...the Eagles just let the clock run out, Reid, the staff, no one did or said anything
@XxHooksxX ya thats true BUT you don't see cowboy fans roasting their qb on a grill! Its funny how McNabb did so much for the eagles but yet they still talk shit about him and hate him and then the fucking cowboys support their qb no matter what...WOW!
@gfscarface13 My point its 2011 now and now we got DeSean McCoy Maclin and many more that are good but this season is prolly locked out idk if it is or not but I heard it was suppose to
@Disfunctiion looks like hes doing great to me hes 79 of 129 completing 61.2 percent of his passes 6 touchdowns 3 ints and 1 of the ints was a tipped pass and another wasnt even a int it hit the ground so hes only really threw 1 pick that was on him he has pass passer rating of 91.9 plus 228 rush yards u can say he has 3 loss fumbles but i would love to see u under that o line so Mike is going his part there are 53 men on the roster so if u want to bmlame someone blame the defence
@nobodysperfect06 I would think Eagles and Cowboys in the 2000's decades because they been to playoffs that decade and never won one but at least San Diego and Philly can win one :P
@nobodysperfect06 I meant cowboys never won one Eagles cant handle it I wish my team actually win one but were getting close to it with Vick McNabb was a big choke
yea ok dude, we allllll know that the patriots have found NO success since they were caught "cheating". im not even a patriots fan, but i can admit that brady is on his way to being the best qb ever and the pats are the greatest dynasty ever. simple.
all i got to say is Garcia cant hold donovans jock strap. U no nothing about anything you have said so far and u r a fraud loser. Lol Garcia is in the same class as Favre and young.
so in other words mcnabb didnt win shit without westbrook like i said? and mcnabb never throws picks cause he NEVER FUCKING THROWS DEEPER THAN 10 yds. what dont you fucking get? its not rocket science, the shorter the pass, the easier it is to complete. do you know how fucking hard it is to throw a pick on a screen?
no shit this convo is over. it should have been over when i said, but i kept wasting my time. come back and talk when you get a ring faggot. ill take garcia over mcnabb anyday
o boy, here we go, the biggest cop out in sports- counting championships prior to the superbowl era. get over yourself dude, they dont matter anymore. those championships are obsolete. so ill say again-
i wasnt a part of 1995? actually i believe they have 3 in my lifetime haha, which i never realized till now, but they do have 1 that i can remember watching. good try though. anything else?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
the 49ers organization has 5 championships, 3 of which i was alive for, but only 1 i distinctly remember watching. i dont really celebrate the first 4, but acknowledge them. so i will say it once more
5 rings>0. and dont expect the 0 to change anytime soon.
i didnt know they were among the top, but a 20+ yd pass doesnt have to go 20+ yds in the air. if he throws a 1 yd pass and the wr takes it another 20 himself, you have a 20+ yd pass. well see what mcnabbs got this year. he didnt have to do much week 1 though. if he plays against the saints, thats a D he can abuse if he plays well
dude it was a comment to piss off the ravens guy. he said mcnabb wasnt in the same league so i just make him mad by saying hes better. anyway anyone that doesnt think mcnabb is in the same league w/ them and at least a top 5 qb, u dont even deserve a youtube account, or the right to call urself a football fan.
ps: this name is to make fun of reno mahe, not b.c i though he was good
ok well if your joking then i guess its ok. but no, mcnabb isnt a top 16 qb in the league, hes a bottom half qb and i live in philly and watch him almost every week. his calling cards are screen passes, over and underthrowing balls, and bad decision making. he has NEVER been good. its really a shame that other people dont see this. i could spend all day arguing about this, but ill leave it at that for now. if youd like me to list the qbs who are better then mcnabb ill do it.
mcnabb does more with less better than any QB ive seen. of course guys like tom brady and peyton manning look good throwing the ball when there throwing to all pro recievers , for example the one year mcnabb had an all pro reciever you saw what happened and he only had one not two or three good ones on the same team
well, brady won superbowls throwing to david patten, deon branch, and troy brown. and where are they all now? i cannot stress enough that i see every game and he is not a top 16 qb. over 50% of mcnabbs passes are 10 yds or less, and a good portion are screens. if you dont believe me go watch ever single game and keep track. once he throws over 10 yds he becomes a liability. is that elite?
yeah the one year i saw him go deep is when he had a deep threat name terrel owens and you you saw how good he did. how could he go deep to recievers who cant break away from there dbacks. first of brady shouldnt have been to his first superbowl but he got help from the refs against the raiders. not to mention the system he plays in is what makes him just ask matt cassel.
i mean, i dont know what to tell you. if you think that TO didnt make mcnabb look as good as he did that year, youre nuts. the best qb to ever play with TO remains jeff garcia. THERE was a good combo. TO wanted out of philly for a reason. he stuck with sf and dal for a little before leaving. and he could have OWNED this city.
and do you really believe that brady isnt damn near flawless? brady is brady. best qb to ever play the game and hes still in his prime. hed thrive on any team.
brady has flawless protection maybe. he sits there for an hour in the pocket. of course to made mcnabbs stats look a lot better but even without to mcnabb still lead them to the superbowl. mcnabb is a flat out winner which is something you cant say about most qbs in the league.
i wouldnt say mcnabb is a winner. in the reg season maybe, but if anything id say hes a loser when it means the most-the playoffs. one SB appearance, and i think we can all agree that the NFC was worse that season than it had ever been in history. the falcons were the 2 seed. pathetic. but he does get the eagles to the playoffs usually. however, getting there isnt good enough for me. i want my team to win.
and apparently bradys protection isnt that good. he missed all of last season hahaha.
if it so easy to win in the nfc then why wasnt anyone else winning besides them. most qbs can barely keep there teams over .500. and one blown coverage fo brady doesnt mean bad protection
dude you sound like an idiot, your argumement is lame. I guess Dan Marino and Brett Favre were bad qbs too right, just because they dont have winning records in the third and fourth rounds of the playoffs.
Wake up, and come back to reality, he was throwing to guys like pinkston, thrash, and Na Brown for most of those years. So lets atleast try to keep it real.
i sound like an idiot? im not the one who just compared mcnabb to 2 of the best qbs to ever play. ok my take on mcnabb- hes in a system where over 50% of his passes are screen passes where there is no coverage on the rb, at which point its up to westbrook to follow his blocks and pad mcnabbs stats. a good portion of his remaining passes are for 10 yds or less. once he starts throwing past 10 yds he becomes a liability. he can beat shitty teams in the reg season real easy. playoffs arent the same
LOLOLOL. Dude i cant believe you just said 50 percent of his passes are screen passes. you sound like an uneducated first grader. and by the way Mcnabbs accuracy gets better down the field moron. where he struggles at times is in the short to intermediate range. I think you need to go back and watch a few games from 2004 when he was hitting owens in stride 30 yards down the field, every game.
LOLOLOLOLOL. so i sound like a moron, but you are comparing mcnabb from 5 years ago to mcnabb today? ok, makes sense. if you think mcnabb doesnt throw an obscene amount of screen passes then you literally dont know a thing about football. next season just count the screens each game. dude, westbrook catches like 7 or 8 balls a game sometimes. and how about mcnabbs ability to run an offense and call plays on the fly? dont you think theres a reason that philly fans hate him? jackass
ok jackass yea westbrook catches 7 or 8 a game, but he also lines up wide. And Philly fans dont hate Donovan, the quiet majority thinks hes a very good QB.
ok, and do you live here? cause over half the eagles fans i know want him and reid gone. but ok, you go keep being the quiet majority and keep talking about 5 nfc champs in 8 years and never get that ring. but its ok, as long as you make the playoffs in philly then people are happy. i guess thats what happens when an organization sucks so badly for about 30 years that after pederson, hoying, peete, randall, koy and ty, mcnabb looks like a HOFer. westbrook doesnt line up wide that much. screens
Yes i live in philly, do you go to games, do you go to training camp? Because i can tel you that up at Lehigh for training camp Donovan gets a standing O everytime he walks out to the field. And Westbrook does lineup wide, nitwit. So you and your uneducated friends can bash 5 and live in lala land its fine with me.
westbrook lines up wide sometimes, but id say 90% of his rec are from the backfield. and im glad mcnabb gets a standing O in lehigh. then at the linc he gets booed off the field. but whatever, i guess ill live in "lala land" if thats the only place where you can logically hate mcnabb. im not even a fucking eagles fan. they suck and their fans are completely oblivious to the rest of the league. i wont be a part of that. enjoy the worst qb tandem in history this season.
yep dude you nailed it. im crying over here thinking about it. too bad. ahhh well, my niners will probably win another bowl before the eagles win their first. and my penguins... i dont really need to go any farther with that one. but thats a different sport so we wont talk about that. what DOES suck is being surrounded by moron birds fans all year. o well, nothing like watchin them cry every week.
hey dude at least when the birds do win a superbowl, wheather, its in 5, 10, or even thirty years ill be celebratin at the parade with the people. When your niners win the superbowl you will probly be at work the day of the parade with noone to celebrate it with. Its just a shame that you will never get to enjoy it with anyone. AH o well their is nothin like a free agent loser fan.
well enjoy that parade. if you really need to be surrounded by people who root for the same team as you to sincerely enjoy the feeling of winning a championship then you dont like the team enough. on top of that, i actually drove out to pitt for the pens parade. who knows if id do the same for san fran? but i waited 14 years for that championship and when i got it, it was sweet. watchin sid hoist the cup is the greatest moment in my 21 years. hopefully richards never touches the cup though.
ok nice comeback tough guy. until one of your teams gets a ring for something past 1975 this conversations over. and dont expect the eagles to get a ring anytime soon.
LOL im a phillies fan dude, you fuckin moron. AND 1975 YOU AND I WERENT EVEN ALIVE IN 75. Dude listen here is the bottom line. you root for teams in cities that you have no affiliation with at all. WHY DO YOU ROOT FOR THOSE TEAMS? Because you are a loser. It is meaningless to just root for any team that you have nothing to do with. and by the way jeff Garcia couldnt hold Donovans jock strap
ok, lemme rephrase that statement: until you get a ring in an actual SPORT. baseball is fucking gay, and does not count as a sport to me. get me some roids and ill go and hit a few homers too. and i havent played ball in about 10 years. youre right about 75, which is why its meaningless to me. its part of the flyers history, but its not impressive when you dont win shit for 40 years after. im a loser cause i dont like the eagles/flyers? ok, that makes a lot of sense pal.
and in response to garcia and mcnabb, garcia is a superbowl ring away from being a HOFer. mcnabb doesnt have a shot unless they put him in cause hes black and as far as i know theres no black qbs in there, unless moons in, and moons only in cause he played till he was 50.
dude, please go watch a game of football before you fucking talk. fucking clueless bastard.
Garcia a ring away lol. Mcnabb has a better chance to get in with no ring then Garcia with a ring. lol everytime you talk you just sound like more of an idiot.. And yes their is no reason to be a fan of a team that is in a city that you have no affiliation with. Like i said you are a loser.
well whether or not you know this, garcia had the 4th best qb rating OF ALL TIME prior to leaving sf a few years back. OF ALL TIME. think about that statement. jeff garcia plays the game the way its supposed to be played and although he wouldnt be a lock with a ring, i wouldnt be surprised if he got in at some point.
so is your favorite restaurant the one closest to your house? or is your best friend the one who lives closest to you? cause that would be consistent with your rationale on sports. who fucking cares what team i like as long as i support them. youre fucking clueless dude.
Dude Qb rating is a useless stat. Look at the guys skill set, all Jeff Garcia ever was, was a weak armed, and i mean horribly weak armed, gritty QB who was purely a system QB. You could put Mcnadd in any offense in football and he would flourish. Jeff Garcia would never make it outside of the west coast offense.
dude, i hate to tell you but mcnabbs career ends on the day: a) he leaves the eagles, or b) westbrook leaves the eagles. mcnabb is terribly inaccurate and cannot read a defense, or make intelligent decisions. people blame reid for waaaay to many of mcnabbs shortcomings. if you want to talk about a system qb, mcnabb defines that type of qb. jeff garcia doesnt have the strongest arm, but he was accurate and could make plays. favre, romo, young, etc all did it. hes steve young take 2.
He had awful receivers and a poor offensive line a lot of the years he was there and still did statiscally well.

I love the eagles but we'll never win as long as reid is the coach. we will never have a real run game under him, and for that the eagles will never have balance.

oBlossom92o 1 year ago
Talk about ungrateful.I see alot of fellow Eagles fans on here bashing Mcnabb it was because of Mcnabb we were so competetive for so many seasons and made the post season so many times.Of course the loss to the Patriots in superbowl 39 will always hurt. But football is a team sport and clock management can be blamed on the coach as well as it can Mcnabb.Mcnabb took us to the NFC championship games most of the time with mediocre receivers.Tell me the name of another Eagles QB who accomplished that

We probably wouldve won if T.O. wasn't such a ass bout "not getting passes"
ToBaCa12 1 year ago
@ToBaCa12 he actually had 11 catches that game so....not sure what your referring to...
flyeaglesfly22 1 year ago
@flyeaglesfly22 yea but he was complaining how wide open he was every time
ToBaCa12 1 year ago
@ToBaCa12 bkoz he was wide open. He was playing his heart out on a bad ankle, and the patriots could not cover him. Ofc he wanted the ball if he were open, not to mention McNabb throwing picks, when he had T.O open. If T.O was 100% you would've won. If he didn't play you would've been blown out. Owens just had a determination that night. He wouldn't quit.
GTAMoviesAndFlix 1 year ago
@GTAMoviesAndFlix he wasnt open all the time i watched the game
ToBaCa12 1 year ago
@ToBaCa12 He was open most of the time. Still without him you would've been blown out.
GTAMoviesAndFlix 1 year ago
@GTAMoviesAndFlix how would u know its called teamwork obviously T.O. wanted all the passes and McNabb wanted other players to get passes but T.O. was selfish and complained the next season
ToBaCa12 1 year ago
@ToBaCa12 Because the eagles had no other WR nears T.O's level. Even on a bad ankle. Call himselfish but he risked his career to play in that game, because he knew him playing was their best chance of winning. T.O shredded a great defense on a bad ankle. Selfish would have been not playing because he didn't want to risk his career. He rehabbed his ass off to play in that game. Had it been Tom Brady who came back from that the praise would still be going on.
GTAMoviesAndFlix 1 year ago
@GTAMoviesAndFlix So ur saying Mitchell and Thrash wernt good WR's? hopefully u know who they are
ToBaCa12 1 year ago
@ToBaCa12 being good and being on T.O's level are two completely different things. T.O is arguably the second best WR in NFL history. Neither of those two could shred a defense like that on their best day. T.O did it hurt. Notice Mitchel was the one who bitched after the SB. Where is he now? He's 32 T.O is almost 38 and still playing good. And if ur referring to James Thrash he wasn't in phili on 2004.
GTAMoviesAndFlix 1 year ago
@GTAMoviesAndFlix He wasnt Im pretty sure he was but Im guessing im referring to L.J. Smith who played on T.O.'s Level
ToBaCa12 1 year ago
@ToBaCa12 L.J Smith HAAAAA. Where is he now? His Career went down the tubes. NO ONE the Eagles had were on T.O's level. and quotes about not getting passes are you referring to T.O or Mitchell? Because it was Mitchell who bitched after the SB. Hate on T.O But he was a worrier that night. He left it all out on the field. But No one talks about it. Call him w/e you want, but without him there is no SB for the eagles.
GTAMoviesAndFlix 1 year ago
@GTAMoviesAndFlix We dont need T.O. its our shitty coaching called andy reid
ToBaCa12 1 year ago
@ToBaCa12 Yeah cuz reid hasn't helped Mike Vick become a better QB than he ever was before or anything. Reid is a good coach. He's great at developing offensive talent. I just think the eagles need a new D coordinator. McDermit just isn't the guy.
GTAMoviesAndFlix 1 year ago
@GTAMoviesAndFlix yea ur right
ToBaCa12 1 year ago
@ToBaCa12 Let's fact check reid's tenure shall we... 107 wins 10 playoffs .618 winning pct. All best in team history. 6 Division titles. 5 trips to NFC Championship. Most divisional round appearances 7. 19 Different players to 44 Pro Bowls... and not one of these players had ever played in a Pro Bowl before.
GWhiz99 1 year ago
GWhiz99 1 year ago
GWhiz99 1 year ago
GWhiz99 1 year ago
Donovan McNabb doesn’t have his own comic book. Frequent 1980s David Letterman guest, hARVey peKAR, created “American Splendor” comic book. Striking the “H” from hARVey would make an “ARV” start, evoking the RED CEDAR LN offspring who studied animation and either aspired to or managed to do animation professionally (who the fuck knows, cares?). The point is, drawn characters brought to “life” fits nicely with animated “real world” themes, just as bART SIMPSON is perpetually stuck in 4th grade
GWhiz99 1 year ago
GWhiz99 1 year ago

When the Cincinnati Bengals running back DILLON set a single game rushing record of 278 yards vs. the visiting Denver Broncos on 10/22/00, it eclipsed the previous mark (273 yards) set 8,732 days earlier by Buffalo Bills great o.j.

22, 2000. It was the same day many saw their first NFL game in the modern era at Ericsson Stadium in Charlotte, as the Carolina Panthers beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-16. It was the same day JONATHAN L. eagles fans, you dont have to watch Mr Chunky Soup make Excuses for his Playoff Failures anymore like in this video. He's gone.
gfscarface13 1 year ago
Nowhere in this clip does he answer why he was casually walking up to the sideline with seconds left in the game. If you didn't want to use a timeout then why were you walking?
What does Terrell Owens wanting to stay in the game have to do with this? Are you guys that disorganized? He's the number 1 receiver. Dude played a good game too.
This clip confuses me. If you didn't want to call a timeout then where was the sense of urgency?
ManhattanProject9 2 years ago
Nobody can ever understand McNabb.
This clip was just an Example of how McNabb is in the Playoffs. Fumbling words, looking for a quick story to tell his Excuses for his Playoffs Failures.
Nervousness, throwing up on the field and not knowning the rules of Overtime.
Thats why McNabb always CHokes in the Playoffs.
gfscarface13 2 years ago
@gfscarface13....actually if you look inside the numbers, if you're gonna call him a "choker" the defense choked way worse. Truth is you can't make McNabb the scapegoat for every loss, which is what people do. Plenty of issues to point out

You do realize the Eagles are among the top in the NFL in passes 20+ yards?
Eagledude81 2 years ago
i didnt know they were among the top, but a 20+ yd pass doesnt have to go 20+ yds in the air. if he throws a 1 yd pass and the wr takes it another 20 himself, you have a 20+ yd pass. well see what mcnabbs got this year. he didnt have to do much week 1 though. if he plays against the saints, thats a D he can abuse if he plays well

Eagles Might want to consider signing Plaxico Burress or Marvin Harrison, They just signed Michael Vick (Not Sure if he will still be good)
The Eagles can make a serious playoff run with a big-shot receiver.
Michael Vick could scramble around to mix up the defense, he could then gun the ball to the deep-threat plaxico burress.

renomahe34 3 years ago 2
ok well if your joking then i guess its ok. but no, mcnabb isnt a top 16 qb in the league, hes a bottom half qb and i live in philly and watch him almost every week. his calling cards are screen passes, over and underthrowing balls, and bad decision making. he has NEVER been good. its really a shame that other people dont see this. i could spend all day arguing about this, but ill leave it at that for now. if youd like me to list the qbs who are better then mcnabb ill do it.
goat6668 3 years ago
mcnabb does more with less better than any QB ive seen. of course guys like tom brady and peyton manning look good throwing the ball when there throwing to all pro recievers , for example the one year mcnabb had an all pro reciever you saw what happened and he only had one not two or three good ones on the same team

well, brady won superbowls throwing to david patten, deon branch, and troy brown. and where are they all now? i cannot stress enough that i see every game and he is not a top 16 qb. over 50% of mcnabbs passes are 10 yds or less, and a good portion are screens. if you dont believe me go watch ever single game and keep track. once he throws over 10 yds he becomes a liability. is that elite?
by the way, i hate peyton so fuck him.
goat6668 2 years ago
yeah the one year i saw him go deep is when he had a deep threat name terrel owens and you you saw how good he did. how could he go deep to recievers who cant break away from there dbacks. first of brady shouldnt have been to his first superbowl but he got help from the refs against the raiders. not to mention the system he plays in is what makes him just ask matt cassel.
mankSandhu 2 years ago
i mean, i dont know what to tell you. if you think that TO didnt make mcnabb look as good as he did that year, youre nuts. the best qb to ever play with TO remains jeff garcia. THERE was a good combo. TO wanted out of philly for a reason. he stuck with sf and dal for a little before leaving. and he could have OWNED this city.
and do you really believe that brady isnt damn near flawless? brady is brady. best qb to ever play the game and hes still in his prime. hed thrive on any team.
goat6668 2 years ago
brady has flawless protection maybe. he sits there for an hour in the pocket. of course to made mcnabbs stats look a lot better but even without to mcnabb still lead them to the superbowl. mcnabb is a flat out winner which is something you cant say about most qbs in the league.
mankSandhu 2 years ago
i wouldnt say mcnabb is a winner. in the reg season maybe, but if anything id say hes a loser when it means the most-the playoffs. one SB appearance, and i think we can all agree that the NFC was worse that season than it had ever been in history. the falcons were the 2 seed. pathetic. but he does get the eagles to the playoffs usually. however, getting there isnt good enough for me. i want my team to win.
and apparently bradys protection isnt that good. he missed all of last season hahaha.
goat6668 2 years ago
if it so easy to win in the nfc then why wasnt anyone else winning besides them. most qbs can barely keep there teams over .500. and one blown coverage fo brady doesnt mean bad protection
mankSandhu 2 years ago
he has a winning record in the postseason so i dont know how hes a loser
stvsta1 2 years ago
whats his record in the 3rd and 4th rds of the playoffs?
goat6668 2 years ago
dude you sound like an idiot, your argumement is lame. I guess Dan Marino and Brett Favre were bad qbs too right, just because they dont have winning records in the third and fourth rounds of the playoffs.
Wake up, and come back to reality, he was throwing to guys like pinkston, thrash, and Na Brown for most of those years. So lets atleast try to keep it real.
stvsta1 2 years ago
i sound like an idiot? im not the one who just compared mcnabb to 2 of the best qbs to ever play. ok my take on mcnabb- hes in a system where over 50% of his passes are screen passes where there is no coverage on the rb, at which point its up to westbrook to follow his blocks and pad mcnabbs stats. a good portion of his remaining passes are for 10 yds or less. once he starts throwing past 10 yds he becomes a liability. he can beat shitty teams in the reg season real easy. playoffs arent the same
goat6668 2 years ago
LOLOLOL. Dude i cant believe you just said 50 percent of his passes are screen passes. you sound like an uneducated first grader. and by the way Mcnabbs accuracy gets better down the field moron. where he struggles at times is in the short to intermediate range. I think you need to go back and watch a few games from 2004 when he was hitting owens in stride 30 yards down the field, every game.
stvsta1 2 years ago
LOLOLOLOLOL. so i sound like a moron, but you are comparing mcnabb from 5 years ago to mcnabb today? ok, makes sense. if you think mcnabb doesnt throw an obscene amount of screen passes then you literally dont know a thing about football. next season just count the screens each game. dude, westbrook catches like 7 or 8 balls a game sometimes. and how about mcnabbs ability to run an offense and call plays on the fly? dont you think theres a reason that philly fans hate him? jackass
goat6668 2 years ago
ok jackass yea westbrook catches 7 or 8 a game, but he also lines up wide. And Philly fans dont hate Donovan, the quiet majority thinks hes a very good QB.
stvsta1 2 years ago
ok, and do you live here? cause over half the eagles fans i know want him and reid gone. but ok, you go keep being the quiet majority and keep talking about 5 nfc champs in 8 years and never get that ring. but its ok, as long as you make the playoffs in philly then people are happy. i guess thats what happens when an organization sucks so badly for about 30 years that after pederson, hoying, peete, randall, koy and ty, mcnabb looks like a HOFer. westbrook doesnt line up wide that much. screens
goat6668 2 years ago
Yes i live in philly, do you go to games, do you go to training camp? Because i can tel you that up at Lehigh for training camp Donovan gets a standing O everytime he walks out to the field. And Westbrook does lineup wide, nitwit. So you and your uneducated friends can bash 5 and live in lala land its fine with me.
stvsta1 2 years ago
westbrook lines up wide sometimes, but id say 90% of his rec are from the backfield. and im glad mcnabb gets a standing O in lehigh. then at the linc he gets booed off the field. but whatever, i guess ill live in "lala land" if thats the only place where you can logically hate mcnabb. im not even a fucking eagles fan. they suck and their fans are completely oblivious to the rest of the league. i wont be a part of that. enjoy the worst qb tandem in history this season.
goat6668 2 years ago
ight dude, that sucks that you live in the philly area and ur not a birds fan. So i guess ur just a fraud, loser that got picked on in school.
stvsta1 2 years ago
yep dude you nailed it. im crying over here thinking about it. too bad. ahhh well, my niners will probably win another bowl before the eagles win their first. and my penguins... i dont really need to go any farther with that one. but thats a different sport so we wont talk about that. what DOES suck is being surrounded by moron birds fans all year. o well, nothing like watchin them cry every week.
goat6668 2 years ago
hey dude at least when the birds do win a superbowl, wheather, its in 5, 10, or even thirty years ill be celebratin at the parade with the people. When your niners win the superbowl you will probly be at work the day of the parade with noone to celebrate it with. Its just a shame that you will never get to enjoy it with anyone. AH o well their is nothin like a free agent loser fan.
stvsta1 2 years ago
well enjoy that parade. if you really need to be surrounded by people who root for the same team as you to sincerely enjoy the feeling of winning a championship then you dont like the team enough. on top of that, i actually drove out to pitt for the pens parade. who knows if id do the same for san fran? but i waited 14 years for that championship and when i got it, it was sweet. watchin sid hoist the cup is the greatest moment in my 21 years. hopefully richards never touches the cup though.
goat6668 2 years ago
OK FRAUD
stvsta1 2 years ago
ok nice comeback tough guy. until one of your teams gets a ring for something past 1975 this conversations over. and dont expect the eagles to get a ring anytime soon.
goat6668 2 years ago
LOL im a phillies fan dude, you fuckin moron. AND 1975 YOU AND I WERENT EVEN ALIVE IN 75. Dude listen here is the bottom line. you root for teams in cities that you have no affiliation with at all. WHY DO YOU ROOT FOR THOSE TEAMS? Because you are a loser. It is meaningless to just root for any team that you have nothing to do with. and by the way jeff Garcia couldnt hold Donovans jock strap
stvsta1 2 years ago
ok, lemme rephrase that statement: until you get a ring in an actual SPORT. baseball is fucking gay, and does not count as a sport to me. get me some roids and ill go and hit a few homers too. and i havent played ball in about 10 years. youre right about 75, which is why its meaningless to me. its part of the flyers history, but its not impressive when you dont win shit for 40 years after. im a loser cause i dont like the eagles/flyers? ok, that makes a lot of sense pal.
goat6668 2 years ago
and in response to garcia and mcnabb, garcia is a superbowl ring away from being a HOFer. mcnabb doesnt have a shot unless they put him in cause hes black and as far as i know theres no black qbs in there, unless moons in, and moons only in cause he played till he was 50.
dude, please go watch a game of football before you fucking talk. fucking clueless bastard.
goat6668 2 years ago
Garcia a ring away lol. Mcnabb has a better chance to get in with no ring then Garcia with a ring. lol everytime you talk you just sound like more of an idiot.. And yes their is no reason to be a fan of a team that is in a city that you have no affiliation with. Like i said you are a loser.
stvsta1 2 years ago
well whether or not you know this, garcia had the 4th best qb rating OF ALL TIME prior to leaving sf a few years back. OF ALL TIME. think about that statement. jeff garcia plays the game the way its supposed to be played and although he wouldnt be a lock with a ring, i wouldnt be surprised if he got in at some point.
goat6668 2 years ago
so is your favorite restaurant the one closest to your house? or is your best friend the one who lives closest to you? cause that would be consistent with your rationale on sports. who fucking cares what team i like as long as i support them. youre fucking clueless dude.
goat6668 2 years ago
Dude Qb rating is a useless stat. Look at the guys skill set, all Jeff Garcia ever was, was a weak armed, and i mean horribly weak armed, gritty QB who was purely a system QB. You could put Mcnadd in any offense in football and he would flourish. Jeff Garcia would never make it outside of the west coast offense.
stvsta1 2 years ago
dude, i hate to tell you but mcnabbs career ends on the day: a) he leaves the eagles, or b) westbrook leaves the eagles. mcnabb is terribly inaccurate and cannot read a defense, or make intelligent decisions. people blame reid for waaaay to many of mcnabbs shortcomings. if you want to talk about a system qb, mcnabb defines that type of qb. jeff garcia doesnt have the strongest arm, but he was accurate and could make plays. favre, romo, young, etc all did it. hes steve young take 2.
