  • I was climbing a mountain in Australia (first time in the country) and a wallaby shot out from under a rock and hopped away. I was like "A kangaroo! No wait, a jackrabbit! No, umm, that thing in between..."

  • Omg so cute!!!!!

  • whats the difference between kangaroo and wallaby????

  • @hellahotdude Wallabies have 3 toes and are much smaller.

  • So... a wallaby can lick a woman with no problems, yet when I stroll up to a woman on the street and start licking her all over, I get arrested and put on the sex offenders register yet again!! Why is that?? Hrumph..

  • Hey, it's Rocko! :D

  • wallabies can also be pets.I WANT ONE!

  • Throw anotha shrimp on the baahbie!

  • ITS KANGAROO JACKS SON

  • @TheLITTLESNIPER13 it is a wallaby. Kangaroos are huge. wallabys are small

  • It's probably licking up the salt off you're arms, especially if you're sweating. Sorry to be all unromantic on ya. *^_^*

  • He's like "Mmm, tastes like hamburgers."

  • Did anyone else realize that it's trying to taste the difference between a human arm and its own? It's a wallaby scientist.

  • I NEED FRIENDS SEND ME REQUESTS ASAP!!! THANKYOU :D

  • Alright, so I found a site where you can buy them.

    SHOULD I GET ONE?

  • @molewizard No. Are you Australian? Do you even have the right food for them? Do you live anywhere near a bush or even a field to house one? WTF!

  • @napalmnacey Yes to everything about being Australian. Do they only respond to that accent?

  • @molewizard *except

  • @molewizard No, I thought you might live in America or something. I am pretty sure you need a license to own wild animals. They're not domesticated, they're a tough animal to keep. It's better to keep domesticated pets - you yard probably doesn't have everything in it to make the wallaby happy and healthy. Wallabies belong in their natural habitat.

  • @napalmnacey But my apartment doesn't have much furniture. There's definitely room to hop around and wallpaper to claw.

  • @molewizard Oh thank God, you're a troll. *phew*

  • Respond to this video... i want to get one too.

  • Nurh, very cute! <3

  • Reminds me of this drive thru zoo I went to when I was about 11, in the petting zoo area, they had wallabies and kangaroos. There was a momma kangaroo with her baby and they would come up behind you and she would gently tap you on the shoulder to get you to feed them. There was also a large male kangaroo who just laid around watching, when you went up to him, he would hold his hand out for food. This one little wallaby decided I was his buddy and followed me around the whole time...

  • do wallabys bite?

  • It's like a midget kangaroo without a pocket

  • cute! how does its tongue feels like? and the fur?? :D

  • yeah, for those who dont know, wallaby=more or less a funsized kangaroo

  • that things a carnivore

  • Very cool video....

  • aw how adorable!

  • cool. when i was a baby my dad saw a abanned baby wallaby and we raised it and we let it go after 20 weeks becuase we found it when its was 6 or 5 months old

  • salt lick hah

  • Matt has a hairy arm for sure

  • nice

  • He or she is beautiful hehe.

  • they like salt at your skin

  • tthey apparently have a real thing for salt, they did they same thing to me when I went to Australia lol, that's so cute.

  • wallabys rock... I want one

  • we have one that escaped from a vet hospital in Raleigh,NC, just saw it on the news, come find it lol

  • Several species of wallabies were extinct during the european colonization of Australia. They were hunt for fur.

  • notice how it never liked the same spot

  • Well there is only salt on places not licked.

  • wallaby = favourite animal

  • GO WALLABY WOO THEY ROXK SO MUCH

  • I LOVE WALLABY'S!

  • brb.. gotta go catch some wallabies

  • i was wondering where to get a wallaby one thats cheap decent young. if you guys could give advice it be fantastic.

  • My advice: Don't buy one, they make bad pets.

  • They do? They seem amazing... very calm, friendly, you don't have to cut your grass and they are so cute! :D

  • How?! Please tell me how they make bad pets!! I know a guy who has them and i was thinking of getting one.

  • Gotta find an exotic pet dealer :-)

  • I know someone who had one. I have some videos on my youtube. But I think it ran him about 3k, and I think he found someone through the internet.

  • he's so cute! :3

  • The wallaby is either very friendly or he needs salt. ^_^

  • A kind creature...

I wish the Australians would leave their roos alone...and not kill them...

  • @dudemantwo they have to keep a population, or there will be to many wallaby's and kangaroo's,

i know its not nice, for i love animals and many other things, but they would start getting sick and not have food to eat because there are so many of them, and that would not be good either would it?

    thank you for your time.

  • @iAMcirca never saw a sick roo or wallaby...

  • @iAMcirca

Yeah we have a somewhat similar thing here in Canada with seals (they're cute but if we don't keep their numbers reasonable they threaten just about every fish population on the east, west and northern coasts).

    Cute wallaby though.

  • @zyphoid666 i'm from canada aswell,

from ontario, so i dont have seals, but, nope, its gross, they go and rip there little faces off. its horrible

  • @iAMcirca

I'm in On as well, the great white north though. I understand the necessity of such a thing but there always seems to be a couple of assholes in the crews who get off on torturing and disfiguring the seals and I take great exception to that. Just like any other area where animals are killed, give them a swift and merciful death. Don't make it a "sporty" activity and don't torture them.

This is one area where the Natives "got it right" me thinks.

  • @FredDude27 They should just give him some fries from Wendy's if he needs salt.

  • @FredDude27 I know dogs do that to me all the time, poor old 63 dog year old Max always has a field day with my hands.

  • @FredDude27 Probably both. :)

  • @FredDude27

    I saw it's the latter.

  • Dude, I want one!!!

  • @McJesus007 They cost a "Pound" in austrailia whatever a "pound" is lol

  • @McJesus007

I got one but it has rabies........so ill give you a deal. over $9000

  • What a sweet little thing!

  • Wallabys in parks get use to people chuckin bread to 'em, they get very tame after a while.

  • he thinks you're a salt-lick.

  • "U haz a flavour." lol!

  • 動物界 Animalia

  • I want one for a pet! He could get my news paper for me and kick that boy I don't like in his balls. J/k I'd be scared silly if one of those walked toward me.

  • "I want one for a pet! He could get my news paper for me and kick that boy I don't like in his balls. J/k I'd be scared silly if one of those walked toward me."

Something tells me that isn't going to work. Ur thinking of kangaroos which are actually tall enough to reach. Wallabys are small, like 16 inches tall.

BTW, why do all yanks think that kangaroos are even vicious? The WILD eastern-grey kangaroo won't even get within 10 meters unless they are used to humans, then maybe 2 meters.

  • I know it's fucking Wallaby, I watched Rocko's Modern Life! DAMN.

And don't call me a Yank. Who are you, the Wizard of Oz?

  • Nah mate, I'm just an Aussie, and ur a yank. Lol. (BTW OZ isn't proper, because Aussies say zed like Canadians not zee, so it's Aussie. If it was proper it would be pronounced Aus-zed)

  • Ok, ok, whatever you say Wizard of Auzed. This has gone on long enough, no need to prod a dead horse. Bye bye!!!

  • Yes, we do say "zed" instead of "zee", but we also do call Australia "Oz" sometimes. Don't listen to this person. He is wrong.

  • We don't think they're vicious, it's called a joke..

  • love that person standing in the background. no love? time to walk away.

  • kyuubik ur a fag why would u kill it

  • such a nice animal... i love it so much

  • I want it!!!! :D

  • That's one fat wallaby.

  • You ever seen a skinny one?

  • No, but I haven't seen one that fat.

  • I love those little wallabies.

  • it's too cute!!

  • quit being so bitter skully and ENJOY THE FREAKIN VIDEO!!!!! Isn't that the sweetest thang!! :)

  • Why don't you quit the bitching?

  • geez xysoldier I'm tryin to be cute...quit being so serious :(

  • "We found a Wallaby that liked people" why do you find that surprising? In fact, Wallabies and Kangaroos are gentle creatures if treated right. some people in Australia are actually holding Wallabies as pets, and they can be as loving pets as a cat or dog.

  • CUTE!

  • oh my gosh - how cute is that?!

  • cool little fella
