@babylon0282 After this jump I went on to be a solo skydiver so I could do it over and over again :)

I had to move away from Peterlee for work and I really miss it there, other dropzones haven't really been able to replace it for me.

@babylon0282 The centre used to offer £100 off a solo course after doing a tandem, I can't say if that's still in place. So my ground school and first solo jump was £120, there's a video! After the first jump they were £42 each as a student skydiver, at the time you could book 10 for £320 saving 25%. I did 28 jumps as a student on "RAPS", each one was a thrill, minimum is 18 jumps if you pass each lvl 1st time. £20-25 for qualified skydiver jumps, plus kit hire until you buy own parachute etc.
