if you ever care to watch VERY carefuly, the EVA rebuilds have the absolutely best quality because they actually cared to focus the camera angles right and use abstract expansions at the right moments. Unicorn cant live up to CCA in terms of quality trust me, its just CG flare and anyone slightly trained in CG can do that ezmode.

Yup. MS was original designed to be 3 meter tall powered "suit" instead of 18m robots too. But that was changed to sell toys. Although I think Gundam is more of a digest for a Japanese audience than just a recycled starship trooper, in theme and otherwise. Tomino has made reference to other classic SF like Space Odyssey in the animation more than one too.

I enjoyed it quite a lot despite the generic storyline, the mechas were awesome, loved the whole co-ordinators vs naturals plot etc. SEED and wing got me into the gundam franchise and they seem to be underrated because people are so fixated on the original series.This is just my opinion and i am planning on watching the UC series soon despite the fact that i know most of the storyline from games.

no but when ever you have the choice between piloting a giant mech verses a small mech, which would u choose? i choose the bigger one, besides just attach more thrusters to it and u'll be fine
@kevinlei92 Personally, I don't have much of a preference for mecha height. I think the machine is just as awesome as their pilots. However, I do feel a bit akward that the latter UC eras tend to have smaller mecs like F91, Crossbone and Victory since I'm so used to their normal 18 meter + height back in the days.

if you ever care to watch VERY carefuly, the EVA rebuilds have the absolutely best quality because they actually cared to focus the camera angles right and use abstract expansions at the right moments. Unicorn cant live up to CCA in terms of quality trust me, its just CG flare and anyone slightly trained in CG can do that ezmode.

Plus it appears that Gundam is going to be brought back to its space opera roots. Seed may no be original, but the premise of Gundam: an intersteller war between space empires and a young boy fighting to survive the conflict is far from original in itself. In fact, Gundam traces it's roots back to the novel Starship Troopers

You can't base yourself on something that didn't EXIST until a whopping 20 years later.It's like saying Star Trek was based off of Star Wars. Mecha, was popular genre in Japan for a while, Gundam was the first attempt to do it realistically. Not only that, aliens have nothing to do with Gundam excluding the new 00 movie. Please get your facts straight, or at least dates straight, before making stuff up out of your ass.

That God awful movie raped a classic military sci-fi, which introduced mecha into a franchise, and was only done right as a boardgame by Avalon Hill, and a 1988 6-part anime by Sunrise. Even Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of Gundam, admitted to have read the novel. FYI, Heinlein is one of the "Big Three" of modern science fiction after Isaac Asimov and Arthur C.Clarke. In short, Gundam is a recycled version of a classic.

Yup. MS was original designed to be 3 meter tall powered "suit" instead of 18m robots too. But that was changed to sell toys. Although I think Gundam is more of a digest for a Japanese audience than just a recycled starship trooper, in theme and otherwise. Tomino has made reference to other classic SF like Space Odyssey in the animation more than one too.

There is so much hatred for SEED -.-
I enjoyed it quite a lot despite the generic storyline, the mechas were awesome, loved the whole co-ordinators vs naturals plot etc. SEED and wing got me into the gundam franchise and they seem to be underrated because people are so fixated on the original series.This is just my opinion and i am planning on watching the UC series soon despite the fact that i know most of the storyline from games.

it wouldnt have been as awesome if it was the hi-nu trust me, first off, hi-nu is a lot smaller, and second of all, nu gundam's radiator funnel fins forms the distinctive 'A" while docked, get it? A for amuro, A for ace, what do we get from hi-nu? nothing much imo its just wings

no but when ever you have the choice between piloting a giant mech verses a small mech, which would u choose? i choose the bigger one, besides just attach more thrusters to it and u'll be fine

@kevinlei92 Personally, I don't have much of a preference for mecha height. I think the machine is just as awesome as their pilots. However, I do feel a bit akward that the latter UC eras tend to have smaller mecs like F91, Crossbone and Victory since I'm so used to their normal 18 meter + height back in the days.
