@freerunning10 A loose hose at the solenoid or banjo fitting, Or it could be worse, the solenoid could have been overpressurized by opening the reg too far. i.e. You would need a new board completely.
hey i need real help with my epiphany today i found a leak and i think it comes from the banjo fittings because one is loose but i dont know how to tighten it plz help
The thicker chambers is more pressure to the gun but rate of fire goes down, thinner chambers release less pressure but you get to shoot at a faster rate of fire.
ok ive had my epiphany for like a year with no problems and just today i unsrwed the board to get to the bolt put it back to together checked for leaks and there was a small one. i opened it back up and the hose screw that connects to the regulater snaped in half. jw will they fix it fo free kus the other half is still screwed in... please help
metalmosher buy the epiphany cause it comes with a good trigger feedneck and the freak jr. anyone, how come they dont sell epiphany bodykits like the ion? tHAT WOULD BE COOL.
most ppl dont know this but u can run co2 threw any gun with out anti-syphone the way to do it is to connect it with a remote line the reson u can do this is that the liquid is on the bottom of the tank THE TANK MUST STAND UP RIGHT ANY TIME U FACE IT 180 DEGREES UR GUN WITH FILL WITH LIQUID take off the tank and start agein after 30 minites for CO2 to evaporate
heeeeyyyyy someone told me it was a heavy marker can someone tell me if it's true? i'll buy one with a n2 iron tank no aluminium can someone please tell me it's weight??????
Everytime I put my NOS tank on my gun it sounds like it is leaking air but shoots find does anyone else have a problem with this.Other than that I love this gun.
hey dude i just got my epiphany and im brand new 2 paintball ide just like a kinda up close video of how 2 clean and maintain my gun if u could cuz most vidz on here aint the best especially if i dont wanna fuck anythin up thnx dude
basicly take it apart like an ion and wipe down paint that may have gotten inside.. and dirt and such then dont forget to reoil it before you put it back together=] glad people are picking up the sport
i purchased a Smart Parts Epiphany to day i put it together and it fires once then loses all pressure behind the ball and fires the air out of the trigger from the air overflow pipe but it still fires fast with no pressure not enuff to fire 2nd or 3rd ball .if i fire it once then wait 8 to 10 seconds it fires again ok. i carnt seem to get it to fire more than 1 ball with out the 8sec rest?is it somthing iam doing wrong ?the psi clock shows 260..thanks for any help
It sounds like you over-pressureized it. All of the pressure that was let in blew the soleonoid which would explain why air isnt getting to the valve and is exiting through the trigger. A new solenoid should solve your problems. After you install the new one, turn the velocity ajuster way down to ensure that the solenoid will not blow againwhen you attach you air source.Oh, and just to let you know, the gauge isn't supposed to exceed 200 psi.
where do the eyes come in and how do you remove them ... if you can i am thinking of getting a piff and dont really nkwo much bout em so message me with an answer please
The sleeves take up space in the chamber so not as much air is needed to reach the pressure needed to fire the ball. The thickest sleeve is the most efficient, but, may not allow the marker to fire at 17 rounds per second, it will have dramatic shootdown. The thinner you go, the larger the chamber will be and the more air will be needed to fill that chamber at the proper pressure, but it will have the ability to fire more quickly.
hey, i was wondering if you could help figure this out. I just got an epiphany in today and i was wondering why when i degas the marker and try to unscrew the tank, i cant. so basically, i screw in the tank, turn on the asa, turn off asa, get rid of any extra air, and i try to unscrew my hpa tank, and i can't
It does not matter if the valve is on or off on the ASA because there will always be pressure between the tank and the Knob on the ASA. Therefore, even if you degas the marker, there is still pressure against the o-ring and threads of the tank. My suggestion, sit down on a bench, point the marker at the ground, and hold it between your knees/legs, give the tank a 1/2 to 3/4 turn to the left(out). ONLY THEN will the marker completely degas, because you've un-pressed the pin on the tank.
minis r lite but the suck to complicated not friendly user ions really easy virtue board all up grads in gun take a look at leon's ion video not good but can see and hear gun shooting and it will kick your gun ass
i no i made my decision about that a few days ago, i realized that the mini sucks, no upgrades, the epiphany sucks, pretty much an ion. so the rail is my choice.
the rail has bolt problem out of the box the battery weires look fried and brunt and has leaks in the reg
the mini is so sentestiveyou have to have a low pressure tank and set the veloicty right and my tank into mini the soilniod and blew i had to send it back.
lets say you get .689 barrel but a .682 paintball the barrel is to big so the inserts will make the barrel .682 so they paint has all of the force of the air and not half
The thicker the sleeve, the more space it takes up that air could be filling. It's like puting a brick in the tank of your toilet to save water, only this is air.
The Epiphany is like an Ion, but there are differences aside from the milling, the grip is more comfortable, the power button is easier to use, the firing chamber has interchangeable sleeves to kill shootdown and up air efficiency, and the solonoid runs at a higher pressure to allow a faster recharge rate when the different sleeves are in use.
no, not to fit different size balls, but to fill up the volume of the air chamber inside the marker. You're thinking of the Freak barrel system from Smart Parts that you can change to fit the bore-size of the paint you are shooting. Big difference.
The difference in sleeve depends on what speed you are shooting, if you have a QEV, or aftermarket regulator. The long of the short is: it's case sensitive
Nope, it won't work. The solenoid from the Epiphany is different from the Ion, and the Ion Virtue board isn't compatible with the Epiphany.
The only board you can get for the Epiphany right now, I believe, is the Ion Blackheart. Smart Parts made the Blackheart to be compatible with both Epiphany and Ion solenoids.
The Virtue board for the Epiphany is coming out next month from what the Virtue people told me at LA Open.
I don't know as much about Angles as I do Shockers and Ions, but just from the standpoint of being able to fix your marker, I would pick a SP, Dye, or Proto marker.
Hi dude, i have a question, what is the stock qev of the epiphany? I have one, i think the marker is good, because all the components costs more than 200$. It my opinion...
I hate to burst your bubble, but there is no "stock" QEV in a stock Epiphany. The Quick Exhaust Valve is an aftermarket part that allows the marker to run more efficeiently, without a science lesson on how it works.
Actually it's Ion programming in the board; so whatever an Ion does, the Epiphany does it as well. The only difference is the solonoid is stronger to handle the higher pressure.
ye but still its 200 dollars more expensive then the ion and you can build an new solanoid forthe ion just by adding stroger hoses and a stronger qev nothin rele too major. onw queston about it tho. can there bodykits fit on an ion?
Nope. I do not work there. Actually, that's about 2.5 hrs. away from my field, in the Quad Cities. I've been to the badlands to play but never worked.
wow... its an ion. i was expecting a much better marker then this. the only difference is realy the looks and solenoid.. SmartParts is trying to pull a fast one on us.
Smart Parts wasn't trying to pull anything. They admitted that it was an upgraded Ion. The shell will be able for purchase as an Ion shell sometime in the future.
