  • Wow, never noticed that four bowls thing, thats pretty deep! (also, just re-watched the episode, there was also a FIFTH bowl! for Ein perhaps?)

  • 5 people are justin bieber fans

  • This episode was really sad...

The scene where Ein and Ed leave, it makes me sad....

  • I eat boiled eggs while I listen to this.

  • 5 people are still waiting for the girls to come back...

  • i hope yoko and steve hook up again.

  • i could seriously cry

  • Can't find this song anywhere on iTunes. No damn way to get it on my phone so I have to play these videos just to listen to it while driving. Shitty! Hope this video never gets yanked or I'll flip my shit.

  • @Sethp1990 i got on my phone and i could tell u how..jus ask

  • @BigBosNigga974 Well show me how if you could. Btw your name implies your a rap loving ghetto thug but the music your listening to (as in this steve conte song) proves otherwise and that your clearly white, just wondering what thats all about especially the post saying i could seriously cry. No black guy would ever say that especially not a boss. Lol

  • @Sethp1990 Seth!..i assure u that i am 100% Black Male...sayin i could cry dnt mean shit except i am in tune with my emotions...cowboy bebop was apart of my life b4 i even bcame a boss and i paid the cost.the particular episode that this song was on was a very sad one it just shows how powerful the music is...it really tugs at my heart strings..anyway...do u use firefox to get on the internet if not..download the latest version of it and ill tell u how to download any video on the web

  • This was the song that played when Edward leaves, right?

  • Does anyone know what other song the tune is from? I can feel I've heard it somewhere else, but don't remember where - 0:24-0:30

  • Episode features the way things began. Starting to catch up with storyline. Hate watching things in sequence so watching according to songs.

  • Well I know what I'm going to watch later today.

Maybe not this exact episode, but one of them for sure!

  • Cowboy Bebop ended almost 15 years ago but, somehow, it always comes back to our mind like a memory, like our first kiss or the youth we pray to keep. Anyway.. one day It`ll make sense. :)

  • so i dont cry at the end, or when ed leaves. but when ein left too, i cried like a little girl.

that was about 10 years ago now. shit

  • this soundtrack has more feeling and soul than most living people these days, the end wont come in 2012, its already happened, we are just all too blind to except it

  • @lilplayersniper accept it ....u spelled the wrong one for ur statement...but i feel u tho..ur words found their mark

  • I cried like a baby the first time I saw this episode....this song made me feel like I was losing my best-friends too =(

Still gets me even all these years later.

  • OST4 ;)

  • God! This music is so beauty and so sad too. Cowboy Bebop is wonderfull!

  • BYE BYE ED!!!!!

  • Edward reminds me of my Drea... A true free spirit...

  • Reminds me of Firefly.

  • You. All. Suck. I haven't finished the series yet! D:

  • Goodbye Ed...

  • Reasons for me to listen again.

  • Does youtube rotate top comments or something?? Mine still has the highest from a year ago (100+) but it's not on top anymore??? (not trying to be pretentious, just curious)

  • @clublouie after a while it justdumps top co mments for new ones

  • The series could have ended with this scene and I would have felt just as sad as the actual ending. See you, Space Cowboy.

  • i just keep thinking of "bye bye" written on the ship and the picture of the pinwheel taped to the ship :(

  • tense series

  • Only show that can make you tear up watching people eat eggs.

  • This was one of the greatest episodes I ever saw... When this song played as Ed was leaveing and Ein tried to follow i teared up.

  • Two solution after this Episode

cry or smoke a cigarette ...

  • @IronWolf38 both

  • @IronWolf38 Yup I agree...

  • british song xd awesome ost!!! great anime!

  • Nothing is ever the same after Bebop...

  • @aminoacid1648856 And nothing would be the same without Bebop.

  • @aminoacid1648856 so fucking true...

  • @aminoacid1648856 that was the point, we all have to wake up from the dream eventually

  • 5 People won't ease my mind.

  • i miss ed ;n;

  • I know that this sounds so cliche but there is no fucking reason why this clip should have a dislike button... God damn it Youtube!!!!

  • call my heart....bordel de mouert, quel morceau, Domô arigatô gosaimasu Yokô Kanno, j'ai une érection sensitive pour la beauté de vos compositions.

  • With whats going on in my life, this song pretty much sums up my crazed thoughts.

  • I am him

  • at the very end you can see spikes star go out he went out as a warrior

  • I Love this song! I just wanna sing along to it...but i just might ruin it with my horrible singing lol.

  • I don't think or hope there is a movie to explain the ending of Cowboy Bebop, its one of those things that runs its course. It makes us believe some things happen for a reason and that there isn't a definitive answer to what we wanna seek. That's why I think they decided to leave the ending of Bebop the way it is

  • @leegeddyfan When it was shown on Adult Swim, the ending of Cowboy Bebop was one of the few end credits sequences not to be sped up to fit more advertising time in, its just that iconic.

  • @FailcopterWes well that too but i was talking about the series' ending in general

  • @leegeddyfan yes I know you were. But the point is that end bit is the best part of the series. So any tampering with it, be it sequel or otherwise is pretty stupid.

That's why the movie was cool, it was set between episodes 22 and 23, it didnt try to explain anything.

  • I'd rather there be no more of the show, nor a live action. It's perfect as is.

  • La puta que lo parió! Ed y Ein se van a la mierda, Faye devastada por su pasado, se acerca del final de la la estupenda serie, uno de los momentos más tristes de la historia del animé.

  • Oh my gosh this just gives me the chills every time I listen.

  • Someone pointed something out to me that makes this episode even sadder- *SPOILER ALERT* at the end when Spike and Jet are eating all the eggs, they've set out four bowls. They're still waiting for the girls to come back. When they finish their own bowls off, they start in on the other two bowls, all without saying a word; they've both acknowledged that the girls are probably gone for good, but neither one wants to be the one to say it, so it just hangs there unspoken...

  • @Rolaran nice catch. The last three episodes of cowboy bebop are probably the best combined episodes in anime of all time.

  • @Rolaran There are five bowels one is on the floor...

  • @SargentRooster It was Ein's bowl.

  • @Rolaran fast eaters...maby trying to feel the void

  • @Rolaran holy shit

  • @Rolaran Are you talking about the movie or what episode?

  • @you234511 regular season episode right before the two part final episode

  • this song reminds me of a bitter goodbye to an old friend, even outside of the series it still has so much impact.

  • You know, I believed the ending to be up to the viewers interpretation. Only one star fell, Who's was it? Vicious or Spike? You choose. But oh god the memories are coming back, Must rewatch.

  • @LimitNine Actually 2 stars fade out. If you look closely a little after the credits fade up to the stars, you can see one off to the right fade, then when the other is of course when the credits stop. Me and my bro watched it about a month or so ago and I brought up that there might be more than one star that fades, so when the credits came up, we looked and he saw one, so we backed it up and sure enough there was another one that faded out. Hope you see it ;D! See you later, space cowboy

  • What episode was this song in?

  • @Bstuk2 24 Hard Luck Women

  • @Bstuk2 Episode 24 "Hard luck Woman" when Faye *SPOILER ALERT* finds where she used to live and, Edward as well. This plays when Ed and, Ein -sniffle- Leave the Bebop..

  • @skyguy15 Thanks for reminding me of that part! It still brings tears to my eyes. It showed that the show was truly coming to the end, and they did it in such a way that just broke my heart.

  • @TeOctober Sorry, I was answering Bstuk2 's question, it makes me upset too lol I can't tell you how many times i've seen that episode and whent into a deep depression..... I still think they should make a spin off called "Radical Edward"

  • @skyguy15 That spin-off would be funny. I really just wish the would make like a single episode (Or a movie) of them reacting to the end. Like is that they end of the Bebop? Do they regroup? Did he survive? Has Edward stayed with her father? So many questions. Each one someone has answered somewhere. But there is always the wondering feeling people like me get~

  • @TeOctober I know what you mean, Cowboy Bebop is by far my most loved tv show period. even Steve Blum the guy who voices Spike wants it to continue, him and, the guy who voiced Jet actually gained a friendship through their fictional friendship haha, Cowboy bebop means alot to alot of people and, I hope that maybe someday it will continue, but maybe the way it ends and, how many episodes there is makes it what it is to so many people, thus the highest rated comments :)

  • @skyguy15 That is amazing~ I personally suggest cowboy bebop to anyone in search of something to watch. I think if it was continued it would be something like Trigun and Badlands Rumble. Like it would be a movie and then a manga. Really, I think people would be happy with anything. Many may not show it, but if (IF) the Cowboy Bebop movie (Live action) is made (It may have been canceled) I think that would just be good enough for the fans. :3

  • Oh god. The nostalgia. I thought I was immune to it.

    Ha ha. How naive.

  • best anime soundtrack award goes to...Cowboy Bebop

this soundtrack was...if not the best...it was really close

  • this is my theme song right now XD

  • Crocadile tears....here I come....

  • I like this song. it's so relaxing.

  • great buildup until @3:19 - we head out of a simple pop song territory and into some great string stuff reminiscent of Mahavishnu Orchestra's Visions of the Emerald Beyond (great fusion record from the seventies)..and @3:36 - am i the only one that hears "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Verve in this?..at any rate, an amazing song..

  • @MisterGris i hear the verve too, pretty sneaky.

  • @MisterGris isn't that the music that was at the end of Cruel Intentions? If that is what you are referring to, then yeah i hear it too. Many times, I would drive my car before sunset while listening to this song. It is both beautiful and tragic.

  • I can't stop listening to this song! Today I'll like stop listening then it comes into my head again so I have to start listening again....

  • Hiya :), can anyone please tell me the name of the song from the series that has kitten's purring throughout the course ? Thanks yous ^_^

  • @NorrisFoxx Wo Qui Non Coin.

  • @TheWickedWizardOfOz1 Gracias neighbor !

Also a ff fan too, huh ?...Your coool ^_^

  • Makes me feel sad in all the right ways.

  • bittersweet

  • spike died. he's dead.

  • @Tartersauce101 Nah mate, he's just resting! Had a long battle see, needs a bit of sleep. Once he's had a little power nap, he'll be back up and right as rain! Don't forget who you're dealing with here... ;)

  • Just listening to the song again brings the feelings from the episode. :' (

  • I like this song. it's soooo relacsing:)

  • I close my eyes and I keep seeing things Rainbow waterfalls Sunny liquid dreams Confusion creeps inside me raining doubt Gotta get to you But I don't know how Call me call me Let me know it's alright Call me call me Don't you think it's 'bout time Please won't you call and Ease my mind Reasons for me to find you Peace of mind What can I do To get me to you
  • I had your number quite some time ago Back when we were young But I had to grow Ten thousand years I've searched it seems and now Gotta get to you Won't you tell me how Call me call me Let me know you are there Call me call me I wanna know you still care
  • Come on now won't you Ease my mind Reasons for me to find you Peace of mind What can I do To get me to you Come on now won't you Ease my mind Reasons for me to find you Peace of mind Reasons for livin my life Ease my mind Reasons for me to know you Peace of mind What can I do To get me to you
  • thumbs up if you dont want Keanu Reeves to be called for the Spike Spiegel's role!

  • @ShinNatsume18 he already has the part if they make it which will be the absolute horrible worst day ever on the face of the earth and the entire universe and the world is going to end in 2012 because it will come out then

  • @tolikechicken Seriously? They're making a life-action film? If so... GAH! Why the fuck does it need one?!

  • @Slashbash its still ify because they wrote a script already but it was too "good" and cost a HUGE amount of money to make

  • @tolikechicken *crosses fingers* Did or did not Dragon Ball Evolution and The Last Airbender teach them nothing?

  • @Slashbash ikr i hope they dont make it it will like completely ruin bebop

  • @tolikechicken Bebop will be fine as long as you pretend the movie doesn't exist. I mean, Bebop is a little stronger than that. It can still survive.

The problem with films like that is that they fail as movies first. Just 'cause something works in one medium doesn't mean it'll work in another.

  • @Slashbash Bebop works as the anime that it is. It's just too fantastic to work as a hollywood film. All attempts by big name studios to take anime and turn it into a movie are just thinly veiled attempts at white-washing it and homogenising it, when the whole reason that Anime is a popular medium is that generally speaking the writers and producers and animators in the Far East know what they're doing much more so than their western counterparts.

  • @MrLunitunz Now let's not be a weeaboo. There are plenty of good works in America that can equal or surpass Japanese works. What I'm saying is that the Japanese aren't inherently talented, as they produce as much shit as any Westerner.

Anime is popular because 1. We only get stuff that would have a market here or that's popular. 2. It's exotic. I'm just saying that there would be no point in making a movie, that's all. It won't appeal to movie goers and it won't appeal to fans.

  • @Slashbash Fact is, I'm a fan of American media But I would have to say that, objectively, the Japanese are producing better stuff nowadays than the Americans are. Robert McKee, who wrote a book called 'Story', argues that this is because fundamentally the Japanese haven't lost the sense of story, or the craft of story, but generally Westerners have. Japanese media is more thought out.

Which is why a movie would suck. The idea is a cash-in that hasn't been thought out properly.

  • @MrLunitunz True, the stuff in the 90s and early 00s was some of the best. But you get occasional gems, so I'm not ready to give up on the American media just yet.

I respect your ability to argue intelligently. Sorry if I implied you were a weeaboo.

  • @Slashbash Heh. That's ok, I'm not even sure what a weeaboo is.

  • @MrLunitunz Weeaboo is a person who is obsessed with Japanese culture (mostly their media) to the point of being obnoxious and thinking all Japanese people shit gold, basically. Unlike you, however, they're not intelligent.

  • I am staying now in a town called: Ed (Sweden, Västra Götaland)

    ;)

  • See you cowgirl, Someday, Somewhere !

  • listen to youtube.com

  • There once was a critter, her name was Ed.

No one thought she was right in the head.

But then she realized she was too hip for that ship.

And left with Ein to look for a new gig.

Spike and Jet then ate some eggs.

    See you Cowgirl, somewhere, someday!

  • This song is fucking amazing. Made episode 24 so much more intense emotionally.

  • The 4 dislikes are from Vicious, The blonde chick from Big Shot, a fan who had tears and thought they were hitting "like", and Ed who thought it would be funny.

  • Esta cancion me con muebe mucho.. recuerdo a quel buen canal que ya no esta con nosotros LOCOMOTION... aqui fue donde llege aver esta gran estupenda serie Cowboy Bebop.

  • Comment removed

  • This show is soooo deep. *finishes joint* Hey, do we have anymore cream cheese frosting?

  • this one reminds me of someone who left me waiting.

  • Cowboy Bebop just gives me this feeling that after the end of every episode I smile. It's just so bittersweet <3 I will always love this anime. (and Spike :P)

  • how can i get this song

  • Manly tears.

    That is all.

  • @AaronIsneri And a lot of shivers

Cowboy Bebop is so good you can't believe it!

  • @AaronIsneri perfect description.

  • the last three episodes were depressing as heeeeellllllll, but also really good. ed should get her own spinoff.....

  • Realest characters I've seen on TV.

  • this anime is art at its highest level :))

  • I feel like I lost my family in this episode...

  • Spike is so hot

  • @KiroToru Damn straight ;)

  • oh jesus ;_;

  • this song+ Ed and Ein leaving+ Faye not finding her home= me as the world's biggest dipshit emotional wreak.

  • @LieutenantSarcasm26 but Faye did find her home. It was with Spike, Jet and Ed, the thing is she found it too late.

The saddest part was when the song begins and Spike's looking at the "Bye Bye :D" Ed left.

A part of me feels like Spike liked Ed more than any of the Bebop Crew (cept Ein of course)

  • I feel so free when listen to this masterpiece!

  • I can't stop crying.

  • @ssarshikss No they're clearly just insane, even deaf people cant dislike this song

  • @SirUbiki Well, of course they can't. They can't hear it.

  • i want the bass tabs for this song dose any one know where i can get them

  • oh god stop posting all those sad comments i have to cry everytime i listen to this song :((((

  • *Crying* It's the music to the third-to-last episode.....and it's the one where Ed leaves....*Sobs*

  • Comment removed

  • The magic is that you can imaginate whatever you want at the end. You can think Spike is dead or he's alive.

And the magic of Yoko Kanno is exactly what you're feeling right now listening this song.

  • Awesome song. I hated it when Ed & Eien left. Hated when spiked died too. I think what I hated about it all the most is this series ended! But all awesome things must come to an end I guess. Love this show!

  • This is one powerful song here , I heard it on cowboy bebop. Don't leave Ed and eien !

  • this was a sad episode. the girl left and faye found where she belongs and saw that it was destroyed. *cries*

  • See You Cowgirl, Someday, Somewhere!

  • Its funny actually, this song would have almost no impact on me by itself. It has to be associated with Ed leaving for that to happen.

  • it's the most saddest music of Yoko Kanno's,i think.

  • its not really that way for all the crew of the bebop think about it, faye wanted to rescue her past and find out who she was, jet wanted to never forget the lessons he learned so he had the bionic arm instead of a new bio one, ed was the only pure soul whose past came to her and embraced it, and spike ran from hispast in so many ways but all it did was haunt him

  • i like this song

  • I close my eyes when I listen to this and see myself skydiving with no parachute.

  • I hated Edward and this scene STILL made me feel a little sad. Now THAT is storytelling.

  • No matter how many times I listen to this song, I always burst into tears somewhere between 3:30 and 3:40. There is something very real about Cowboy Bebop and the music within that affects me in ways nothing else can.

  • A broken heart never felt so good thanks to this song.

  • As much as I love this song, I have to admit that it really feels like they are ripping of Bitter Sweet Symphony (by Verve) in some parts with the violins.

  • @megabrowser17 This came out first.

  • @Mosuckra Can you give me confirmation of that claim? My own quick search for release dates suggested otherwise back when I wrote that comment.

  • @megabrowser17 oop. My bad, you were right.

  • I admit, I cried during this episode.

  • @rickplaysguitar. You really want to cry? Go to "rainymood" dot com and listen to this song at the same time the rain is playing- oh dear lord.

  • @Momentum139

    Best. Idea. Ever. <3

  • Oh God... I cried so much during this episode...Its rare for me to get so attached to an anime... This is one of them.

  • This series was and still is so unlike other anime. SO much more mature.

It begins with people living their lives, and ends just like it began. Jet alone aboard the BeBop, Spike dead to the world (or so it thinks), Faye off looking for herself, Ed doing her own thing, and Ein doing what Ein does best.

    Life goes on.

  • @WanderingPaladin Yeah that's what i love about this anime so much. They're not saving the world they're just trying to get by. the fact that they're constantly broke and hungry just gives the characters such depth, and because of that depth, I find myself caring about a lot more about the actual story.

  • @WanderingPaladin truer words have beenb typed

  • @WanderingPaladin

NO. Spike is DEAD. I'm sick of this bullshit. It's like saying Lelouch is more still alive.

  • @pyronumber13 They left it open ended so you could infer what you wanted.

  • @DarkMobias Except Bull predicted his death. How many times has Bull been wrong?

  • @pyronumber13 i think the creators said explicitly that Spike didn't die, but they didn't want to be pressured into continuing the series into another season. Cowboy Bebop is a masterpiece, and I'll always want to remember it as such... Keanu Reeves not withstanding. Oh GOD don't let him make the movie.

  • @WanderingPaladin So much more mature? Well, yeah; it's aimed at a different audience.

  • @WanderingPaladin amazing i love when people are well succeeded in psychologic entenrtainment

  • @WanderingPaladin But... Spike and Jet were together when the series began. And there are plenty of mature animes.

  • Drugs couldn't take me to the high that this song took me. I'm above the influence. lol
