  • Read the Next 100 years,by George Friedman.........Stats,facts,and patterns....

  • Staying the # 1 economy as long as we can needs the U.S. top priority. Screw the wars. GET OUT.

  • Zeitgeist

  • we totally screw we can't handle both japs and chinks

  • viva china... putting these american bastards in there place

  • "overcompensation"

  • Think about this when you hear talk about "bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US." It's not going to happen. Those jobs are gone for good. The only logical thing to do, if someone wants one of those jobs, is to outsource themselves to the location where the jobs are, and be content with the slave wages they'll be paid. All brought to you by the WTO, NAFTA and GAAT, corporate greed and corrupt politicians.

  • without the usa china would stop growing all i got to say to china is that your welcome

  • China is going thru the classic "industrial revolution" where it's ONCE 80% rural/farming population is being turned into soon 70% URBAN INDUSTRIAL laborers. This is what happened in Europe, the USA, Japan, even Russia and they are considered "industrialized nations".

  • Production becomes and end in itself, acquiring a mythological character that shrply undermines the cognitive content of labor. - Frankfurt school

  • Production becomes and end in itself, acquiring a mythological character that sharply undermines the cognitive content of labor. - Frankfurt school

  • Japan was a very backward country before the Meiji Restoration. It's culture including the wrtten language were copied from China.

You people were ahead because Japan started to learn and copy the West Industrialisation several decades ahead of China. Now, the Chinese are playing catching up and have already overtaken you guys as the World No. 2 economy.

China has a large pool of Scientists and Engineers and with the injection of funds in R & D, China will surely be at the top again.

  • It was not until the Qin dynasty that Ethnic Chinese finally Behan to have a real say in the government, as they had become by far the largest ethnic group in the empire.

Of course with breeding warfare like what they did in Tibet, it's no wonder that happened.

  • @XxxSakura101 There is one lesson learn from conquering China by Foreign power. Both Mongolia and Manchuria were eventually being overthrown and her territory and people are now part of China.

Most descendants of Manchurian have assimilated very well with the Han Chinese.

  • These Chinese problems still persisted in recent time during 1936 to 1949 where China suffered it's worst civil war between the Nationalist and Communist. Conseuqently, Japan took advantage of China weaknesses and started to invade China North East. until her defeat in WWII.

The first emperor of Ming Dynasty was Hongwu Zhu Yuanzhang A.D. 1328 to 1398 when he led the peasants uprising and drove out the Mongolians.

The first emperor of Song Dynasty was Taizu A.D. 960 to 976.

  • China was really never invaded by any outsiders, yes, the Mongols came, and got integrated into China and in turn their country integrated into China. Each and everytime a foreign invader comes, they were so impressed by the advance society of China, that they made China bigger in landmass.

  • China's Communist party is just a namesake, It really doesnt care what it's called.. It's main goal is to revert back to its Superpower status as she always was, and in fact her long term 50 year goal is to bring back the former glory Middle Kingdom back where only the brightest and most-just Confusius-taught are accepted into the Government. They have already started this by having the best learning institutions that would rival Oxford or Harvard.

  • With the rise of Chinese personal income and improved state welfare, the Chinese domestic market is now booming. More and more folks from the country side are moving into the cities to work. Housing demand will continue to grow..

Most Chinese saved first before they made purchases, unlike the Americans. Any down turn in the housing market will be temporary and will not collapse like

    Japan or in the US.

In future, Japan badly needs to depend on China for their export market.

  • I wonder when will the chinese economy bust lets focus on whats bad in the chinese economy.

  • China is able to do this by keeping its workers impoverished in slave labour. The Chinese worker is exploited and abused by a corrupt evil government that condones and supports a super rich class of exploiters and industrialists. Its currency is not on the free currency market. It is undervalued by at least 100 percent. The poor Chinese worker has no rights. The Chinese Government is a fascist elite!!!

  • @mrjimhoward so what? America became rich and powerful by doing the same thing fron the beginning...just ask your grandparents im sure they endure the pain during the depression and the low wage era...hahahahahahaa

  • @mrjimhoward You have been brain washed by your own Western media. Most of the Chinese workers are beneifting with better income and enjoy better living standard. How could you account for China emerging as the world 2nd largest consumer market after US in 2009. China has already overtaken US as the World largest car and luxury goods market and more than 45 million Chinese went oversea for Tour. The housing, and the whole range of consumer goods markets are bomming in that country.

  • The PRC Economy is going to contrast very roughly within 10 years, and it's going to be rather ugly. In 2040, 40% of China will be unproductive deserts due to over population and over farming.

They may have a larger econamy on paper in terms of capita value than Japan, but the Japanese econamy is stable and healthy, and PRC Is not

  • I highly doubt China will be number one, their econamy is vastly overheating, and their currency is grossly undervalued. Housing rise 60% costs in a single year and to combat that China involved themselves in the same economic bubble America put itself in a few years ago.

    .

  • @XxxSakura101 Since Japan failed to made it to be the world No,1 economy, it does'nt mean that China cannot achieve it. For China it is a matter of regaining her former position as the World No. 1 economy since 1830.

For almost 2,000 years, China had been the world most technological and richest country and Japan had been a student of China copying and learning from the Chinese.

China population and country size is several times bigger than Japan

    .

  • @typhoon Uh.. what makes you think China was the "most technologically advanced" in the world for "2,000 years", and why do you say richest? To my knowledge China has only been considered to be in the number one spot in economics for 40 years before Genghis Khan obliterated China. It has been well versed in sciences, but no other technological spectrim can lay claim to surpassing any other during that same time period. For example, it was the Islamic Caliph who rained supreme from 1100-1400ad

  • @XxxSakura101 LOL, Your knowledge of Chinese history is superficial and most of the time got it wrong. The only period when China was ruled by foreigners was during the Yuan (Mongolian) and Ching Dynasty (Manchurian). During this period the Chinese were still tehnological advamce and prosperous. The Chinese got conquered each time was because of internal weaknesses due to conflicts among court officials fighting for power and cruel treatment by the Emperors to the Chinese people.

  • @typhoon I'm sorry, but only under the Han was "China" ruled by ethnic Chineses. You should learn the history dude, what you're saying is like me saying France was the Roman empire and therefore is entitled to be acknowledged as the ruler of Europe during the said time period.

China was a conquered kingdom of the many dynasties and empires that ruled what is now China. China itself was based from Southern Wu to 20 miles north of Beijing, or simply the kingdoms of Chu , Qi, and 100 miles South

  • @XxxSakura101 Being a Japanese like you, it is natural to deny the existence of Chinese past glory because there is nothing for Japan to talk about before the 19th century. It is just like white washing the history of Japanese invasion and massacre of Civilians in the occupation of conquered countries in Asia during WWII.

If you ever refer to most Western historical records, including comments from CIA Fact book, it always mentioned about China being the most advance nation.

  • @typhoon during the golden age of "China" who had been a conquered country under the Ming Empire. Further the Chinese econamy has never competed with the US, or EU, or the host of other countries who have since been unified. To compare the Empires that ruled China with the fragmented countries after the fall of Rome, and until 1700 would be foolish.

  • @typhoon Further, "China" has technically only been an independent country since 1911, and again in 1949 when the communists annexed the ROC and preceded to carve an empire out in Sinkiang, Tibet, and parts of Mongolia, and India.

Before then, China had constantly been subjugated by foreign Empires, such as the Ming, Qin,Yuan, Song, and others.

  • @typhoons In fact, the only time "China" ever took control was under the Han empire between 200 bc-200ad, that that time only under the "Eastern Han" did China truly rule.

China dose not take on debt? The 2 trillion they owe lenders disagrees... Ever since 2006 China's debt has skyrocketed, and is fast approaching 50% of GDP.

But of course the PRC dosn't think it should count, because it's not a "traditional debt" LOL, the PRC always makes me laugh.

  • China is #1 in wind farms, and #1 is renewable energy spending.

If China didn't pollute and raise it's society, the US would have taken over China.

  • GO GO GO C H I N A,

Lets go kick SOME ameriKKKan heads in & wipe them from pages of destiny.

Australia, canada, ameriKKKa ALL THIEVDOMS. So in the future WILL BE TAKEN B A C K .

    K A R M A is upon the thives of 1492 KOLUMBUS SCUM.

  • @TheBENGALHANNIBAL

Good luck doing that without causing a massive nuclear war. It's a simple case of you kill us we kill you. Everybody looses. I am just glad you are not in any position of power or authority, or the civilized world would burn.

  • What comes up, must come down.

China can't keep this up forever. Eventually, they WILL come down, and hard.

  • @GarlicPudding and the US can?

  • @hchi9 No, but hopefully we won't come crashing down like China will.

  • I agree with him.GDP(Gross Domestic Product) is confusing and misleading.US control World bank report;US GDP is much higher than EU. and EU control IMFreport: EU GDP is higher than USA. from 1984 to 2009. US GDP gone up 3 times. are we 3 times better ?

  • China will knock the US from the number one spot and become the next superpower in fifteen years!

  • i like the wee chinese

  • ahhh good egg rolls

  • GREAT

  • china being no.1 will be nothing new. china had the largest economy on earth for 2000yrs before the 1800s. china will just be resuming the title they once had

  • @hchi9

    yes thats true.

anyone that studied economic history knows china was the largest economy for nearly 2000years until 1800's when britain overtook china after the industrial revolution.

  • is this guy an idiot?

  • @PoolOfTrolls

    no ur an idiot.

now go crawl back into ur hole.

  • @stealthpakfa there is a reason why the U.S. goods have more value-added, you fucking brainless animal.

  • China lending money to US to consume Chinese goods and funding their war in Iraq and Afganistan. Don't even mentioned all the pollution produced in China and CONSUMED by the US. So China in general is feeding Wall St.

  • they already have. they have this country on a debt leash, and can crash our economy at any time. They actually have bankers that are regulated and a rare thing called a fiscally intelligent government, something that makes people cringe at the perceived impossibility of such a feat. China, with it's population, massive ground forces and the fact they actually cover everyone with free health care (something the US figures it is the only country that does not need it) and still is growing. wow.

  • @fonkymaster What you say is true. But isn't China somewhat reliant on the US to keep its economy growing. I mean, if the US stopped buying Chinese made goods then what will China do with its manufacturing base? I do understand that it can sell to its own, but like the guy in the video said, china population is mostly rural and I guess self reliant. They can't afford to buy Nike shoes, Gap pants etc.

  • @WOGI5M

Well yes. But the Chinese could collapse our economy if they wanted to, which they would only do if we truly asked for it. Yes, the trade between China/US is good, but I am saying they could probably still do without us (although not without some financial issues). Their manfacturing base is also not just for US, they are opening up many diplomatic relations with African and South American countries, and soon may not need us at all.

  • Boycott Commie China's goods! It takes 5 seconds to check tags or boxes to see where your potential purchase was manufactured. If you have to buy something manufactured in China, buy used and support a fellow American! - China is a cesspool of human rights violations and should not be supported by our money.

  • China deserves it, they prosper without having to invade and steal from other peoples

  • @Sturmpionier03 Like the Sudanese or Tibetans ...

  • @Sturmpionier03 you're right...they prosper by stealing and keeping their thumbs on their own people!...why would they go elsewhere, when they have a BILLION people to exploit!! dumbass!

  • @Sturmpionier03, I wouldn't say a communist country deserves it. Not that USA does either.

  • @Sturmpionier03 China also doesn't give money to people as humongous amounts of foreign aid. China and India each had larger economies than the US, Britain, Fance, Germany, etc. 200 years ago. They have the manpower to do so. No surprise here.

  • @Sturmpionier03 Excellent analysis. In short, they earn it.

  • @Sturmpionier03 Like Tibet, and Taiwan? Ask the Japanese if they think that China doesn'y hurt other countries.

  • @RonaldReaganRocks1 Are you an idiot, Taiwan is merely an offshoot of Chinese nationalists and capitalists, who fled the communists under the aegis of Chang Kai Chek. They are in effect Chinese and are currently in the process of integrating economically.

Your name belies your economic viewpoint. Face it, Reaganism and Thatcherism over here in the UK failed. Leaving us with the present economic crisis we now face. We destroyed industry for credit driven growth, which proved unsustainable.

  • @Sturmpionier03 LOL. Like their not in Africa stealing it's resources on a record scale right now.

  • Michel Chossudovsky is right on the mark with his analysis. The goal of the CFR however, is to exploit China’s weakness and that is also its population. They have more mouths to feed, and as China becomes ever more Industrial, they import more food. Safety is not a main consideration in China either and so the water and land have become extremely polluted. The CFR Corp’s are ready to pull the plug on the market to take China down as they planned. The result will be massive unrest, famine, & war.

  • @2minstral - added to the World United News blog

  • @2minstral doubt it

  • China is already the #1 economy. The GDP number in the USA includes gov't spending, worthless derivatives, spending from all sectors and the debt that goes along with that. In terms of actual goods or services, the USA ranks as a 3rd world country. Everyone is boggled by why anyone even accepts USD anymore.

The fact that the USA goes around threatening everyone reeks of desperation. People ask why can't the USA ever use diplomacy. Diplomacy is give & take and the USA has nothing to offer.

  • doesn't matter who's economically wealthy. It will all be crashing down sooner or later. The monetary system is made to collapse.

  • Eh, China has already surpassed up. I thought that was quite clear.

  • @metorphoric

    Eh, typo... "us" not "up"

  • The U.S. no longer manufactures anything, everything is made in China and it is only a matter of time before USA slides into an abyss it will never crawl out of.

  • He is right. And yes, Dina Gusovsky can best be described as sexy, she is a fox.

  • wow, that girl is sexy!!

Oh, and China isn't #1 and will not be #1....ever.

    USA=#1

  • @AfterImage9 USA is busto.....

  • @appppppa

Someone doesn't understand economics, income gaps, inflation, capitalism, and international influence....

  • @AfterImage9 please explain income gaps and also how inflation is a positive to a strong economy. While you're at it tell me why capitalism means is the only means to a strong economy?
