  • anybody on here with experience.. how really accurate is the remington 700 sps varmit? 1000 yards?

  • I hope all you shooters pay attention this man knows what he is talking about.

OH! Heather just bought her rifle from CREEDMOOR SPORTS. and loves it.

she is keeping me on the press just about every weekend she is shooting over 200 rounds a day. out to 500 yards. not bad for a starter.

  • Wow that bolt looks silky smooth, I don't doubt the superb quality of engineering, but what, if any lubrication?

  • can you get these stocks for .308 fullbore shooting? as in put maybe an RPA action into it, or a barnard?

  • @tomeanator80 The T2K is available in several calibers including .308, in the standard and Spec-Tac-LR configurations. The T2K, as used by David Tubb and others, has won many National High-Power matches, and David used a T2K to win the 2004 NRA Long Range Rifle National Championship at Camp Perry with a perfect score of 1450. This rifle was designed and built for long range precision shooting. David made a 1459 yard shot on a Baboon in South Africa in Sept. 2010 (see "Ultimate Varmint" DVD).

  • @tomeanator80 LOOK INTO XLR INDUSTRIES!!!

  • I got the dvds from creedmoor yesterday 7 days from california to melbourne ,good service ,im enjoying them but one thing !!his part of texas look awfully a lot like west of victoria !!,keep up the good work !.

  • My Daughters have watched this Video so often I cant count, even they have told me that this guy is one, if not the best Target Shooter there is.

We grew up on Hunting and my girls watch a field covering out to 500 yards.

Heart shots and 9s and 10s at the Range..my youngest kicked her boy friends butt,

he never knew she could shoot, all he knew was the rifle she had was one of her Old mans .308s

Thank You David G Tubb for your Video.

  • @keefer2111, Thank you for your great comments. We are gratified that this video has helped and inspired your daughters to become better shooters and competitors. It sounds like you are a proud father and that you had a lot to do with their success. We look forward to one day seeing them, and you, on the firing line. All the best.

  • @mazzman1

My Daughters are total babes.. the guys stop shooting when we go to the Range, you would Laugh your butt off. I won't let them go out with any anti Shooting, anti-Gun, anti-Hunting. young men..I have to much invested with my Girls and my Rifles.

  • They have made presicion marksmanship a science as well as a discipline these days.I mean you can buy Ballistic Computers,Grip Gloves,Special Optics,Thermostats that take windspeed and direction as well as temprature, you can get synthetic stocks for rifles that can be easily adjusted for a particular individual.

When I was younger, all I had was a few old Ex-Army Rifles and Air Rifles.

  • Very good practices here.

  • That would be Norm Houle, a great guy and incredible rifleman.

  • What's the National Champion's name who makes the special appearance? It sounds like Norm Boole?

  • DGT is a great rifleman/shooter and person.

His accuracy is the standard by all others are measured.

    GET HIS VIDEO!

  • Thanks for the kind words and the positive feedback!

  • Enjoyed shooting with you at the regional match in Roswell, even though it was a bit breezy. Thanks again for picking up my brass

  • Thanks for the posting. I have forwarded it to David Tubb.

  • I'm an avid shooter, have been for for my whole life, I enjoy high power rifle shooting (rem 700 in 308) and I reload for accuracy. However, this type of shooting is on another lever altogether. The day I have to strap up my arms with belts, wear special 15lb leather jackets and have to have all that gadgetry to send a bullet downrange, I think I'd take up fishing.

  • Hi mjmcg: I enjoyed your comments. Keep in mind that this is Match Rifle shooting, where everything that can be done to wring the ultimate in accuracy from the equipment and the shooter is used. The Service Rifle category uses open sights (post and circle service sights), service rifle slings, etc. Not as much gear but still have shooting jackets, scopes, mats and hand loaded ammo. In Marine Corps matches, you lie in the dirt, use rack rifles and issued ammo. Still the same game but less gear.

  • It may seem like a lot of equipment, but it is almost impossible to be that accurate without slings, shooting rigs, etc. These people shoot at targets up over half of a mile away.

  • Great guy... this one its a must buy.

  • A true sportsman got a video for Xmas aand i love it

  • very very nice keep doing what you do best.

  • Thanks for the positive comment. We will be putting up another promo soon on the "Tubb 2000" DVD.

  • David - Your videos are excellent! Most of what I know is from your Video's - keep them coming. If I were to compete I would be far ahead in watching from your experience. This next one will be on my list! Thanks for posting this information!
