  • There is only one God :)

  • hey thanks for this - made it seem not so impossible!

  • i'm an arab but my arabic is ugly. thanks maha, i learned a lot from ur video. pls make more arabic videos. thx :)

  • Shukran maha. I find your Arabiclessons easy to follow. I have been seeking the answer to this question, What is the prural and dual for God (Illah) in arabic? I hope you can enlighten me on this question.

  • You made a very complex system, easy to understand!! ♥ brilliant!! ♥

  • Why they created the rule for plural?! I will tell you Maha. We Arabs in the old times were speaking Arabic without even thinking about it. But when people who are not arabs started to use the languages for example to recite Quran or so, A Persian guy called Sebaweeh put some rules to help non-arabs to speak Arabic. And that is were these rules came from :)

  • Great clip. When are you uploading the video about Irregular Verbs ?

  • Umahat is transliterated wrong, you used capital H instead of h (I suppose capital H is used to represent the throaty H)

  • Please maha i didnt understand can you explain better. Thanx

  • i am non Arabian and like you i am also interested in teaching,i teach science ,english language and arabic .your lessons are effective and awsome.i am kashmiri the paradise on earth

  • Youe videos are great, but I didn't understand one bit..

Ghurfa (room) has ta marbuta at the end..so isn't it a feminine word? how come we give it the 'fu3ul' plural rule?

doesn't 'fu3ul' only apply to masculine?

  • @lilangel606

U r right, What Maha should have said is that for masculine words, you cannot use the regular rule on each and every word, for most of the words u have to use their broken plural. But with feminine, you can use the regular rule with all words, but that doesn't mean that they don't have a broken plural.

    Example:

Ghurfa (room) : can become Ghuraf (broken) or Ghurfat (regualr)

Ghayma (cloud) : Ghuyoom (broken) or Ghaymat (regular)

Waraqa (paper) : Awraq (broken) or Waraqat (regular)

  • You are an excellent teacher. I like the way you explain every lessons. I am learning alot from your videos. Thanks alot, keep it up!

  • Hello, Maha. I have a question for you and if you have time, please answer it. I would like to know if there is certain word order in Arabic. I`ve heard different versions of word order and I am not sure which one is correct. Thank you. I will be waiting for your answer.

    وجمع أم - أمات للحيوانات

  • Dear Maha, thank you for this video. It is difficult, but you explain it very clearly! Thank you very much! If I was to study this in a book, I would never get it.

Your voice and the emphasis while pronouncing, make that it gets ingrained in my memory (I watch every video a few times and speak along with you). You are an excellent teacher!

  • Keep it up girl, if only their were more people like you in this world, it would be a much nicer place.

  • Shukran Maha. I love your videos. But just a suggestion, its already hard to learn the language and get the pronunciation right, and the music makes it more difficult. Its an unnecessary distraction. Thanks

  • @SafiiB :) thank you for making me notice that:) no more music in grammar vids-:) promise

  • Chi ktri 7elou bravo w merci ktir

    you are wonderful

  • i love plurraaalss!!!

  • i thought ustath was teacher?

  • @drjohnny89 it is

  • You have surely become the most famous Arabic teacher in the world :)

I love your lessons. Go on and good luck w/ TV.

  • شي رائع مها الى الامام

  • thank you for the vid. cant wait for the future vids to give more examples of the masculine plurals. it is crazy that there is such a difference between the number of masculine irregular plurals vs. feminine plurals...it seems that most of the irregular feminine plurals are related to family members ie: sister, mother then there is girls & women...

great vid thanks..also could you recommend some easy to read Arabic Literature that has an accompanying Audio, that is if you know of any.

    -Jason

  • personal advice, have a blackboard behind you where to write the singular and the plural form, so that we can have them in front of us all the time. Would be cool to see how the verb turns adding the suffix, ( that's how my arab teacher does). As we italian use to say, verba volant, scripta manent!

  • Even something as complicated as Arabic plurals, you manage to make it so clear and simple! Maybe the magic comes from your smile ;-)

  • Thanks Maha

  • Love it!! :)

    Shokran Maha!! x

  • @benlow666 Happy you like it:):)
