wait, people will pay you to whistle? While working and doing house chores, i basically learned lots of music, from opera, to hip hop, to classic rock. i didnt realize people liked it like whistling and beatboxing. shit, whistling with the bass being pickuped by beatboxing you could do the entire instrument range.

There is no way thats real. you have to move your lips to whistle, especially when you jump up and down a couple octaves, you have to adjust your mouth to produce notes like any woodwind ect.

It's a God given talent, just as if you were a  singer, or a concert flutist. I marvel at people who can have such perfect pitch, sing accapella and give that gift to the world. Thank you, David. This was a lovely concert.

Yes, he is very good, but I would not go so far as to say that it is a God given talent. There is a HUGE amount of practice that goes into learning how to do this or anything this good. I would say that if people were to study whistling in the same fashion as other orchestral instruments in universities and conservatories, there would be many more professional whistlers like him. Bravo for staying out of the norm.

WilkilYu, why do you think he has a flute in his mouth? I have seen this guy whistle and other really good whistlers and there is no trick. They are simply that good. As amazing as it must seem for someone to be able to whistle like this, they do.  With no instrument, no tricks, just years and years of practice. You can believe what you want but I'm telling you, I know this is not fake.

Sir, you are fantastic! I've been whistling since I was four [I am now 18] and I currently perform in our symphony and Jazz band at our school in whistling. I'm so impressed with you and your articulations! I find it to be the hardest part with whistling. Range and air are not a problem with me because of how long I've been working and circular breathing, but I was wondering: what syllable do you use when you articulate? I can whistle in triplets, but I wonder of the correct syllable. Thank you!

It is a fascinating hobby, and I have always been interested in improving method, tone, and diction. My tempo is not quite near where yours is at but I practice at least four hours everyday just walking around whistling a variety of songs and hopefully the old adage rings true that practice will make true.
