'qoti' actually 'qottuu' means a farmer. the term is used by some ignorant habeshas to refer to the oromos i.e. those whose life is based on farming. in amharic qottuu = arash... NB: NEVER USE THIS AS A SUBSTITUTE 4 OROMO AS IT CLEARLY MAKES U SOUND SILLY AND IGNORANT ... if u wanna say 'arso-ader' or 'gebere' the correct term to use in Afaan Oromoo is 'qotee-bulaa'... hope u get my point
