As long as one keeps copying the style of other cultures, (like how in this video, it is quite evident that they're trying very hard to copy American style) one can never make it big. It's not that Singapore's arts suck. But Singaporean artistes seem to be too afraid to explore their own real identities.

Sadly, the entertainment industry can't see this and always always tries to copy other countries, not understanding that those styles simply don't suit us. And we just end up looking stupid.

I suggest you to raise the white flag and just let Film Making internship students film Sylvia's MV instead. She changes clothes wayyy too many times, Maximum 3 outfits. Hair shouldve been flat-ironed in some scene. The shots are loooong. Shouldve been shorter n fast paced according to the beat of the song. Shots taken are like mostly CLOSE UP SHOTS? :/ Btw, there's no storyline to this MV.
