Numark PHX USB - No Soundcard required for Laptop mixing!

Hi Andre,

I have just bought a PHX Numark headphones to use with my Numark DJ2GO in my Macbook (MB402LL/A) and can't make it works. The headphone and the notebook, master, play the same song. I am using Virtual DJay with the deck controller (Numark DJ2GO).

Do you have any idea how I can sort this out?

@FelipeMrCypher You may need to ask Numark about this one, I haven't played with the DJ2GO and don't use Virtual DJ, so assume I am going to be pretty useless answering and guessing!

You do have the obvious things checked? You are using the headphones plugged into the DJ2GO? You only have one channel selected to monitor? You don't have a mix knob sitting in the middle so it picks up all audio?

can you still you them as analog headphones, i mean with 3,5 mm jack pluged into stereo line-out, or it has only USB conection for built-in DAC?

They don't match the headphone drivers at all. Terrible. Never heard a PHX that wasn't fouled up. And name me one single laptop without a headphone jack. How is one crummy little 16bit dac any different than another crummy little 16bit dac?

I just ordered this product online. Gonna have a trial for the DJ position in a local bar with just my laptop, VirtualDJ 7 and a pair of the Numark PHX USB headphones. Wish me good luck!

It's a great Idea, actually you don't need a soundcard nor a mixer you can do everything in the soft xD, not sure if I would use it professionaly but hey! what if something goes wrong with the mixer at the party, just get the adaptors and connect the lap to the PA directly, its crazy! very cool idea.

Woah, great product. Last weekend I had trouble setting up my mixer with my laptop. I found out that I needed another sound card.

Too bad I'm poor and I can't afford them.
