According to specs, this Via NanoBook has a 1.2 GHz VIA C7 CPU. A 900 MHZ Intel Celeron is faster than one of these chips. This in itself is enough for me never to look at this UMPC again. Ever.
I googled around cuz I want to get a notebook. The PackardBell easynote limited edition caught my eye. Butthen I read packardbell sells shyt/bad quality parts in it. I si ttrue whats your opinion, will I go very wrong buying packard bell? Thanks
Their products are produced at the very same factories as, HP, Acer, Sony, Fujitsu Siemens, Apple etc, and made of the same components, so its not like that. I think it used to be like that though.. back in the mid 90s in USA.

what an ugly piece of shit. Looks like something from Fisher Price for 7 year olds. Take a look at the MacBookAir if you wanna see an ultra portable computer!
Although the PackardBell doesnt have the explandable module, it still runs over the NanoBook :). I have always been a fan of Packardbell and their PC's.
I'd feel like a gay using these nano small whatever laptops.

You can buy FOUR Cloudbooks on Jan 25th for less than the MacBook Air. Only fanbois would drop that kind of cash.

packardbell - yuck! fortunately they only rebadge other people's hardware rather than throw together their own trash designs.

Björn, is there a fan inside, or NanoBook is fanless design ? thanks
mykhal 4 years ago 3
There is a fan inside. The only fanless UMPC that I know of is the ASUS T83.
