Senator, I firmly beleive that no one in the US should go without healthcare coverage. Having grown up without, I now see the positive effects that preventative care would have had in my childhood.
Let's see the Senator who can work with both sides; the Senator whom I admired prior to the recent elections; the Senator who justly fought for what was right.
Health care reform is necessary; however, this current "reform" is not good for anyone. Senator McCain will never vote for anything with a "public option", and rightly so. As much as I'm sure Senator McCain wants to pass a bipartisan bill, the Democrats haven't asked for any Republican input. Until they do that, there isn't any opportunity to "reach across the aisle".
