  • Is there a way to get obj files in Unreal 1999? Cuz' when i try it doesn't seem to work with unrealED..

  • Anybody know any sites where I can get tools to rip from other games? I'm using UDK, and I've got average mapping experience in all versions of UT (everything except coding). I'm just looking to make some comedy fan movies, or maybe make some UT versions of other game characters for UT2004

  • I wonder how hard it would be to rig up Goldeneye models as ragdolls in Garry's Mod, or perhaps as playermodels for Half-Life Deathmatch?

  • @poopskinTheLiar Well, you need a lot of editing. First of all, you need more polys ro rig it properly. Beside, the topology may not be correct at all.

  • how can you get player models? For example James Bond character model.

  • I realize this is for demonstration purposes, but you made a pretty huge error. You imported the drone gun into an existing package- and then saved, which should *never* be done because it breaks compatibly online.

  • Yeah, but that package was my own package, the one I did for my maps. It's not used by any oficial map. Any mapper should know about that.

  • It was hard to see, but It looked like you saved it in 2k4ChargerMeshes, which is an official package. After reviewing the video again (and some squinting) I see it wasn't.

  • @xxmago tell me, is it possible to make the Goldeneye Single Player maps work in Coop with the AI for 2 player multiplayer mode???, cus if so i'm up the challenge!

  • How do I export room models and models that compose the actual level? I right click on rooms and it there isn't any option to export them.

  • You can't export things like walls or stairs. Only 00 objects and guards. Anyway, you don't need to exports things like walls or stairs, they're pretty easy to make.

  • Well that ruins the fun because then I can't directly convert Goldeneye maps to other games. I'll have to measure everything. :(

  • I know, I tried to make the Cradle for UT99 and it was painfull, and the result was bad. Anyway I did everything on Unrealed. Maybe it's easier with 3D Max and some maps of the level (blueprints).

  • If you can rip 3D models from that game, yes.

  • Yes, for every 3D game, not only N64. But you have to rip the 3D models first. I mean, you can't rip 3D models from Megaman 64 with Goldeneye Setup Editor, but if you have another tool to do that, then you can rip that models with that tool and import them where you want.

  • I tell you the same thing, If you have a way to rip its models then yeah, you can. In this video I show you a way to rip models from Goldeneye, if you can rip models from another game in any way, sure you can import them on 3Ds Max and edit them.
