  • Anytime I hear her all I have to listen to the song at least 3 times in a row, cuz the first 2 times I just keep saying aloud, "DAMN, THAT GIRL COULD SING!" & WHOO! SING IT PATSY. :)

  • Such talent and she was so fine!

  • So amazing to listen to this song stoned!

  • Thank you for posting images of Patsy prior to her two accidents.

Missed and she will never be forgotten as one of the best female singers (close to Anita Carter) that has ever been recorded.

  • Oh how we could use classy talent like this today! RIP Patsy!!! You are missed!

  • She voices things that I relate too

  • dislike

  • im not that big a fan of country music but patsy cline is so amazing she can turn anone! RIP Patsy Luv u ;) <3

  • thank u for posting this. u rule!

  • this sounds terrible, patsy is usually a good singer but she sings this horribly!!! sissy spacek sang this song ALOT better than patsy.

  • @TheMg2333 you're joking, right?

  • @VASINGER Maybe we should send ThMg2333 some q-tips and peroxide to clean out the ear wax. Don't get me wrong I love both versions but to say Patsy's version is horrible???? I'm with you...I'm still waiting for a punchline.

  • Patsy's excellent vocals supplemented by the great Hank 'Sugerfoot' Garland on lead guitar with the licks.

  • Sissy played Loretta Lynn not Patsy but she was awesome for sure,

  • The version in Coal Miner's Daughter is my favorite because of the simple music and different inflection on the vocals. Patsy Cline had a more operatic voice, very strong, but Sissy Spacek sang it more broken up and hillbilly, which I didn' t like at first until it grew on me.

  • I'm A Teenager...I <3 This Song Loretta Lynn Does It The Best.

  • I'm A Teenager...I <3 This Song

  • Terrific song, Patsy was the greatest. Sissy Spacek sung it well too.

  • I love Patsy...she was so great! I also loved Sissy Spacek's version of this in "Coal Miner's Daughter"....she sang it fantastically! :)

  • Does anyone know the chords to this song? Would love to play it.

  • sissy spachek same song is harder .)

  • DAZ do you mean that Patsy Cline was a "badass"?

    Why?

  • She's the BEST ,,then and forever !!!

  • Лучшая кантри исполнительница в мире!!! Ukraine/ Elene

  • She is badass!

    DAZ

  • awesome

  • This is a really great song. I love Patsy Cline.

  • For good this time?

  • im normally not a big fan of countrey but i like the lyrics to this song. ima make a rap cova or rok. luk on my chanel 4 it.

  • Patsy's voice was golden. Patsy was solid gold ( a term that's over-used these days) but it certainly applies to her. 5*****

  • patsy was only 30yrsold when she died in 1963 in the plane crash a young lady in her prime.

  • Patsys voice can only be compared to that of an angel, may she always live on in her music and our hearts.

  • I'm sure she will for many years to come!

  • @sumyunguy420 you go boy :D

  • "An American Classic"

  • Another A+ for the classics! Thanks for listening!

  • Thanks for sending that one out. Excellent hadnt heard it in years.

  • Glad you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

  • Thanks for posting this one Joan. This is the first time I've heard this song by Patsy. No one can ever compare with her fantastic voice . I heard this song years ago by Webb Pierce and liked it from the start. It's much better by Patsy - I like her style. - Paula

  • Patsy does have her way, I also like Loretta Lynns version along with Sissy Spacek. All were done with the same type of style.

  • Joan - I, too, love Sissy Spacek's singing this song as Loretta Lynn in the movie. It's pure country and that makes it special. You have done a great job with all these pictures of Patsy Cline. She always dressed so classily when she performed, which I love when someone does a show for the fans and audiences. I have often wondered if Patsy actually preferred rockabilly type music over classic country - although everything she has done has been a winner. Thanks again. - Paula

  • You kept your promise of more Patsy, Joan. Thank you! Love her music. It will never grow old.

    Mattie :c)

  • Always keep my promises! Patsy Clines music will certainly never grow old!
