What a difference of quality of music and text with what is sold nowadays. Today it's all rap/hip hop about 'shoot, babe, chick, gang, f*ck, drugs, ass, police, cars, guns, boobs and sex' and so on.

This one of their best songs.

Well. I happen to like babes, cars, guns, boobs, and sex. However, it can be said with some eloquence, and perhaps some style.

Unfortunately, this current generation(Y) is even less literate than mine (X). There are some exceptions, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Airborne Toxic Event, and VNV Nation.

@arafel1964 I couldn't agree with you more! I loathe the music which is currently out; it is all the same crap. The 80s were the Renaissance in pop music during the 20th Century. There were so many different styles and the quality was just... There is nothing out now that can touch it.

I never thought I would be one of those unfortunate people who are stuck in a another decade, but I want a time machine, I'm going back!
