Watching the whole Miss EARTH 2009, i feel this is way better than Miss Universe 2009 na hindi political ang dating at hindi fixed ang results... the opening number is amazing at the beach, the music is cool on the swimsuit portion, this segment, the long gown competition is so cool, playing guitar is difficult if u dont know how to do it, so its not right to say this pageant sucks. U have to watch the entire show not just this segment. PHILIPPINES, i congratulate you for a job well done!

@hspice75 idts... since the year of it's inception which is 2001, the delegates from the Philippines only placed in the Top 4 in the year of 2006 [Miss Water (2nd Runner-Up)], 2008 [Miss EARTH] and last year 2009 [Miss Air (1st Runner-Up). And there's even 1 year which is 2007, that the delegate from the Philippines didn't made the cut of Top 16.

@hspice75 Just like Miss Universe, USA always enter Top 15 and then Top 5, in Miss Earth, Philippines had only 3 candidates who entered the Top 4 2006(Miss Earth-Water), 2008 (Miss Earth 2008), 2009 (Miss Earth-Air). and 2007 Philippines didn't make it to the top 16.

Hanggat si Stella Araneta ang magmamanage ng Binibining Pilipinas, talo talaga ang Miss Philippines sa Miss Universe dahil? palpak talaga ang mga gowns na pinapasuot ni Stella Araneta dahil si Alfredo Barazza na taga Colombia ang gumagawa ng mga gowns o kung hindi si Pitoy Moreno na sa nakaraang generasyon pa ang mga style nilang designs.. hindi na uso ang mga designs nila... dapat palitan na ang Stella Araneta na yan dahil simula 2000-2009, di nakapasok ang Pilipinas sa top 10. Palitan na sila.

Miss Philippines is the real winner of Miss EARTH 2009.... see her answer to the final question and answer portion... she should be Miss Earth 2009 but she was just given the first runner up because they dont want the back to back victory where Miss Universe now by Donald Trump is under UNiversal Insult Petition or Protest for cheating the Miss Universe 2009 results leaving Asian delegates out of the top 10. No wonder, since 2000-2009, our Miss Philippines bets to Miss Universe didnt win at all

Miss Earth 2009 is the best... i have watched the enitre competition.... it is so beautiful... very beautiful. the Opening number is excellent and the song chosen was sang by Madonna. .. everything was beautiful compared to Miss Universe which is fixed by Donald Trump... we already know ur monkey business Donald Trump. No wonder no Miss Philippines made it to the top 10 or 15 because u chose ur own 6 candidates and replace the original top 15 chosen by the judges. 5 Miss Philppines were removed.

Miss PHILIPPINES gave the best answer in the final question and answer. Miss Philippines should have been Miss EARTH 2009 even if Miss EARTH 2008 was from the Philippines. She is as equally intelligent as Karla Henry. She should have won the crown just like the bak to back win of Venezuela in Miss Universe 2008 and 2009.

Alal22000.... please please please go to hell and make your own beauty pageant there. It is in Miss Universe that has fixed results. Donald Trump chooses 6 candidates and puts them in top 15. That's why no Asian country made it in the Miss Universe 2009 coz he dropped Miss Philippines Bianca Manalo in the top 15. Not only that 5 episodes of Miss Universe pageants since 2000-2009, Miss Philippines have been replaced by Trumps own choices even if Miss Philippines landed in top 15

Some of the contestants in the Top 16 aren't even worth being there. I don't mind India, Brazil, Venezuela,Paraguay, Colombia, Spain and Philippines. But, the other dumb bitches didn't have anything to compete. They were so boring. The hosts, judges and everything is so flowery, this competition is like a fairytale. I didn't like, that's my personal opinion.

It is quite interesting to note that the gown worn by Miss Venezuela Jessica Barboza was the same gown worn by Miss Aragua during the 2008 Miss Venezuela Pageant where she ended up as one of the semifinalists. Jessica's earings were also worn by the reigning Miss Universe Stefania Fernandez in the same pageant.

We all thought miss venezuela dress was the best until my eight years old said. I like miss philippines dress, she should get bonus points for having all the colored elements on her dress. Now we understand why she won long gown. Great Gimmick!! Congrats Brazil!!!!!
