  • Velaro CN

  • I smell tons of white meat with envy sauce.

  • The Chinese people are just slaves to the government. The government punishes decent very harshly. The Chinese are very afraid to speak negatively about their corrupt government.

  • I dont thing, they goverment is corupted more than Euroeian or USA.

They have more free market than USA.

    UE is socjalistic state.

  • 日本の新幹線とデザインが似てますね。

  • Communist China blows. All of their technology is either stolen or purchased. These trains were invented by the Germans and Japanese.

  • erm....no

  • Communist is not insulting.

In fact if China did achieve Communism it would be the envy of the world.

  • US is a horrible country full of gangs and guns. nothing changes the facts

  • Most powerfull military, biggest economy (3x larger than communist China's).. You just make shit up as you go, don't you fag? MAKE ME AN EGGROLL.

  • ur pussy soldiers are getting owned by farmers in sandals. ur economy is shrinking while china is growing and will eventually overtake US. go taste a homemade bomb

  • They accidentally showed video footage of the Velaro train that is based on the German ICE 3 at 0:36-0:46. Didn't they notice that the train suddenly looked different in that two shots?

  • us can't do shit

  • yet we are still getting "immigrants" from china

  • learn to read, or at least do some google, my friend. Nothing french runs on this line. The technologies come from JAPAN, and GERMANY. So don't think too highly of your "west". After all, high speed train is invented in Japan, not in the "west".

  • japan tech !

  • 米国是宇宙罪恶之源。

  • start paying their people proper minimum wage, that would be more of a modernisation than a train that could be done without and probly not very eco friendly.

    damed chinese havent a clue

  • ur a dumbass

  • At least I know how to spell Afghanistan! ROFLMAO!!!! I wonder which cuntry you live in. Retardania? Moronica? The U.S. is the best country in the world, and you know that! Ha!

  • US: murderers of iraqis and afghans, invaded iraq based on lies, "free" countries by dropping bombs on women and children, fake ass "world police", worse foreign policy ever, bullying countries, bunch of hypocrites and double standards, culture of gangs and ciolence, love for guns, school shooting is natural, largest prisoner population on earth, country of stupid ppl, country of obesity.

LMAO yea i agree US is best country in the world......in terms of mcdonalds and gangs

  • You still are afraid to mention what shithole third world country you live in I noticed. You can say all the above lies and bs you want, but even if it was true it would be far, far better than anything you could call a nation. We have people risking their lives to sneak in illegally, how bout you? ROFLMAO!!!!!!

  • yep, ill accept that if ya can back it up with an intelligent reason. My piont is valid China spend on ridiculous projects and ignore the detrimental effects their industries have on the enviroment, and an average monthly wadge for a chineese person is around €568 per month.

I might be a dumbass but im a dumbass with a point here. This train is not needed. Its pretention, showing off.

  • oh thats funny. u talk about environment when the rich countries today have gotten their wealth through destroying their environment. now when china is trying to achieve that wealth for their ppl too, they get all the blame and made as scapegoats. so what if china wants to build a new train. it obviously improves travel for chinese ppl. while other countries are wasting money by going war.

  • I get the feeling i offended you but i just wanted to express my opinion on this train here, and if China are really thinking about what they are doing for their country when spending their tax payers money.

  • 我抄你母。

  • lol

  • gisty84, do you know how long it takes to travel from Wuhan to Guangzhou with a train that rides on normal speed? 10.5 hours. Now with this train, it only takes 3.5 hours to go from Wuhan to Guangzhou and you say this isn't needed? China needs more trains like this and almost every railway system in China will have highspeed railway service in 2012, transportation is necessary for economic development.

This is not a ridiciulous project at all.

  • yea I get that, and i probly dont know enough about economics or how long it takes to get from one part of china to the next to be judgemental here but when i see this train and how much they spend on it it just makes me wonder could that money not have been used in another way to improve their country, and life for their people. Do u know what i mean?

  • So you are saying that improving transportation is bad? Well get used to it because 42 more Chinese railways will have this kind of high speed railway system in 2012 and besides, this railway was builded by a State-owned company which costed 116.6 billion Yuan and they've got way more cash which they are spending right now. And FYI, the government is improving the country, you can check the 11th five year plan then you know what I mean.

  • That isteresting actually, Ill have a look at that, thank you.

  • Did you think about how many job oppertunities it produced? For the same amount of money, you can either give them out to the poor for free so they don't need to do anything, or ask them to work on transportation projects like this and pay them for their work. Which one do you think is better? One concern of this kind project is portion of the investment goes aboard, however, in the global enconomy like today, I don't think that's really a problem.

  • There are many ways you can look at this i feel, hopefully it is for the better and my original opinion is not entierly accurate.

  • thats not very brave!

  • u'd be better worry about HUGE debt ireland owed than put ur nose into others business.

  • Thank you, Your so wise, I guess thats what i'll do. The hack of ya!

  • @Seasue

Which Iraq and Afghanistan people, the peaceful, law-abiding citizens, or the terrorists in each country that the US are fighting and dying to prevent their hostile takeover? Thanks to the US there is a democracy in Iraq now, unlike China, which is still governed by a dictatorship.

  • ROFL! thanks to the US retards, there is suicide bombings every week in afganastan and iraq. the irony is that the US are the true terrorists who are doing the hostile takeovers lmao.

  • excellent acheivement is the cost correct but it seems cheap

  • WTF is wrong with you fucked up people? I'm just saying they obviously got the design from shinkansen. All those who think i'm saying this is a shinkansen, are are 100% retards. I meant they got the damn design from shinkansen.

ps. Don't be so stupid to thumb down my comment.

  • No, the model of the train itself is developed by CRH (China railway highspeed) and the technology is jointly developed by CRH, Siemens and Kawasaki.

  • @Deuszxable

Yes, but the design is based on the E2. So technically they didn't ''invent'' this train, although they manufactured it.

  • Too expensive for farmers in china.

Communist party had found for farmers on supports of them. But now they had betrayed farmers.

  • PENIS ...

  • 15 billion?! Im chinese and im proud of it but...seriously 15 billion... 3 or 4 TNT or C4s planted on the track + the train = ..

  • @ToiYeuDatNuocCuaMinh

The US is a hypocrite in what way? Seems to me whenever there is a major disaster in the world (earthquakes, typhoons, tsunamis, etc.) nobody is calling the US a hypocrite when we send ton after ton of supplies and rescue personnel with no strings attached. When the US military is called upon to root out the truly dangerous of the world in order to make it a safer place the US is the only people to salute them for it. You remember that.

  • @Junkiang

  • Australia needs a system like this. I know it's gonna be exspasive but imagaine a east coast like from Cairns in North Queensland to Melbourne in Victoria or even a link from Brisbane to Perth that's over 4000kms. It would be so good

  • Nice to have a fast train. But for me its more important to live in a free country with no censorship, no dictatorship, a social system, clean air... I don't live in 1984.

  • @cuf2f

US fit you well. US has clean air, has your so-called free. After a hurricane, you can EVEN enjoy one month of wild life time with no power. I experienced that, very COOL! You don't need to walk on the street at night. because if you did, you have >50% chances to be robbed by some minority people. If you complain, you are racism. Very cool

  • er siet geil aus

  • 为中华崛起而努力!

  • @Arcaneshadows

It's complicated politics and us ordinary people will never know exactly whats happens within the Chinese government.Perhaps they prevented another civil war. I prefer naitons or Chinese killing their own and weaken themselves then hypocrite dangerous nations like US killing others from around the world or my own native people .

  • @Arcaneshadows

what a joke for a americans to say this.

Be nice to Iraq people and afghanistan people!!

  • because china can affor it and you cant.

  • If the train jumped the wings, you can enjoy the feeling of flying

  • When the train arrived in the world, mankind will remove barriers, not each other discrimination, are no longer hostile to each other.

I am a Chinese, always a friendly welcome to friends of China, Chinese people are friendly!

  • @TWpig

there is something called "Transporter" which might fit your imagination. You can use "transporter" to go from one planet to another planet

  • The construction of a railroad across the Bering Strait, Beijing, connecting Europe, Africa, connecting Beijing, Beijing, connecting Australia, direct access to South America.

On that day, welcome to our friends around the world to China, my English is poor

  • LMAO TRAIN LOKS FUNNY

  • Only 40% of people in Inida are iliterate, in China 99% are literate, since it's mandatory for kids to finish elementary school. In India, less than half of woman population are in work force, the rest are home raising kids and serve husbands. In China, 91% of woman are in workforce, taking any position a man can take. In developing countries, I rate education level higher than democracy.

  • If they are competing, why don't they use their fastest trains instead of second best in China? Why did Kawasaki asked a written memorandum of understanding that China won't ask a responsibility of the accident on this train service? It's China that is hungry for the title and risking the safety. period

  • @WretcheyWretch

The Kawasaki highspeed bullet trains in Japan interestingly had never suffered any serious accidents, and no fatalities; neither did the Siemens highspeed trains. The Siemens maglev in Germany suffered 1 major accident that claimed 23 lives. So far the Chinese has maintained a good safety record, but will soon easily surpass Japan and EU nations on daily mileage and passenger numbers, and that's a cause for safety concerns in itself.

  • It's not the fastest train in the world as they said!!!!!!!the fastest one is the Japanese Maglev 581 km/h

..BTW,this chinese train is also made in Japan by KAWASAKI....check wikipedia

  • this is the fastest commercial passenger train service in the world. Jap Maglev are not a commercial train service.

  • OMG! I wish we had these between LA and SF!!!

  • I think even with this, I'd still be late for work. LOL!

  • If you re a dirty girl than u have to take shower lol :)

  • Anyone know if the 300mph maglev train between Las Vegas and Southern California is still going to be built?

  • @8laney

How could anything ever be built in America? With all the lawyers, government regulations, bureaucracies, and environmental whackos.

They'll tax us for the funds, but it won't be built.

  • Why can't we have a massive train system in America?

  • @blank404

    We do. It's called AMTRAK,

  • No, a real system that covers much more areas. lol

  • this isn't a contest to see who can build the fastest train, dumbasses. this is for mass transportation.

  • 3. Cars themselves worth nothing compared to tracks for high speed railway

    4. Money is the point here not where technology from

    5. by 2012(we alreay in 2010!!!) they will have 13,000km HSR (>350km/h). longer than all countries with HSR in the world combined

    6. May 2010 they will have the first 380km/h link between beijing and shanghai.

    Scary, isn't it. so fastt......

  • its scary yeah. but thats the risk you take when you do these things. man was not meant to move that fast or fly or go deep under the ocean :)

  • the facts are:

1.the chinese owns the 350 km/h train service, your 550km/h train is just a toy running on experimental track (only 50 km).

    2. they have had the longest mileage of high speed railway service in the world

  • build a fancy train (thats awesome though) yet squalid conditions for workers and other problems that should be taken care of first

  • Sweet. Nice to see that somebody in the world is still actually building stuff.

  • haha they are just trying to beat the bullet train

  • @SINUKAYA

The Chinese Americans did... not China.

I'm pretty sure you based that off of that jackie Chan movie... what's it called? Its also got Owen Wilson in it... Well, in any event, you tried, and you failed. Be consumed by it.

  • Come on, ever countries use the tech from others. Or you can only produce egines in UK and cars in US?

  • I saw a lot of loser yelling here.

  • I hope thieve herd of mag levs.

  • China seems to be a country of two extremes. This shows how modern and hi-tech they can be, then on the other hand some chinese areas are primitive and almost backward in belief and practice

  • Good.

    Now it's high-speed era.

  • Why do Americans still use miles per hour when the rest of the world use kilometers per hour...sounds kind of retarded to me.

  • cuz we dont have to hype up our numbers like the rest of the world. we could care less.

  • @wartoz

you're right, kilometers per hour makes much more sense, however we've been using miles per hour since we were born, and switching would just cause too much confusion. Just to give you an idea, try to imagine switching to miles per hour. You'd probably have a lot more difficulty estimating speed. I agree with you, kilometers per hour make a lot more sense, but now miles per hour are just for ease of use over here.

  • Why don't u guys say we China just copy technology from other countries?? Yes, we China is a copy kingdom, we can copy a fastest train in world, why don't u think the Chinese news also fake news??? In short, China is a fake country, am I right??fucking foreigners!!!

  • Only this time China couldn't even copy the choo choo train without help from Kawasaki Heavy Industries. None of countries giving their top tech to China, the trains you find in China are second best of fucking foreigners. Though they started world's fastest train "SERVICE" by risking the life. Somehow ignorant people, especially people in China think China invented the fastest train in the world. I see chinese nationalism in that. China may invent a great thing in the future but it takes time.

  • You're totally clueless. This train is based off of the Japanese Shinkansen E2 and its produced with license. This is not for show China has a population of 1.3 billion, unlike the USA China knows that it needs mass transport to east traffic and carry millions of people across the country each year. The ticket price is quite cheap thats the whole point so most people can afford it. China isn't stupid.

  • @davidmonse31 5 years later, when new gen train comes out, how do people react? And people only know the result by listen to the news report who may impose its own ideas but ignore the long journey to this feat. When 2014 California High Speed Rail comes out, the same thing would happen again.

  • I don't get what exactly you want to say... Maglev would be our next gen train but existing conventional but high-end trains in German, France and Japan would be Chinese next gen like in 5 years I suppose. When the high speed rail is installed in California, I don't think people react the same here in US. Like I mentioned, the nationalism and culture is different. Well, you can blame on your media but hey, isn't it obvious?

  • FYI, The train in this news is not French but based Japanese E2.

  • Umm, its based on the Shinkansen and Siemens Velaro.

  • @patmix,

This is exactly why the Chinese don't trust Americans or the west. The lack of understanding of whats going on. Do you even know what is communism go look it up and you'll know China is no longer a communist state. China's main goal isnt to destroy western civ. way of life. PLZ why would they do that to their customers? LOL! China at the moment is concentrating on improving its infrastructure and its citizens way of life plain and simple.

  • people from america are funny

  • Today, E5 and N700 is new model.

    Their max speed is 400-440km/h

    (in service, 320-360km/h)

E2 is already out of date...

    its max speed about 350-370km

in service, 300-320km is proper speed, i think

    350k is too dangerous

  • @junkun1234 I've heard two types are in use, first German ICE 3 capable of 400 km/h, another is Shinkansen E2, for lower speed class of 350 km/h. The train has been modified, the tractor system and bogie use the CR- Alstom co-designed one to replace the Mitsubishi and Hitachi parts. French tech may have made it better

  • Obviously, China doesn't have Republicans.

  • I'd rather our Treasury Secretary buy mortgages than build high speed train. YES WE CAN!

  • they are buying up all the mortgages from Fannie Mae and Fredy Mac, all $500 billions and americans are still defaulting on their mortages.

  • does it come in black?

  • Nice train. But I'd rather be able to browse the internet without it being censored.

  • money well spent unlike here in America fucking idiot bail outs

  • I wonder how it handles on "fluffy" snow or whatever bullshit excuse the UK rail networks come up with next time we have a bit of snow and the whole network grinds to a halt?

    Nice train though.

  • According the DOR of China, this lines is capable of melting the heavy snows or ice on the rail during bad weather.

  • they rails can raise the temperature, to melt of the ice covers, prior to letting the train go off. its money well spent in this project.

  • This is what the stupid Americans should be trying to accomplish, but instead they choose to expand wars and spend trillions for nothing.

  • @cavegirl1985

" Wake up Indians?" Go easy, lady, as slumdogs are always awake, else will be slammed in the face , twice, by their white old masters for being lazy.

BTW, "Slumdog Millionaire" is a British film production, nothing to do with wanabee bollywood, which primeraly means dancing one's brain out in Chimps' fashion.

  • LOL true.

  • come on lets not be nasty we are neighbors after all. we should be working together to avoid another british empire take over like last time.

  • Train>plane....someday.

  • Oh well, once the Meglev trains are done fixing its quirks it is blow this out of the water.

  • dont think I would like to be around when that thing comes off the rails when going full tilt

  • And America has AmTrak, a corrupt, bankrupt, special interest group crippling the economy.

    Thanks, congress. Thanks.

  • The USA is so far behind.

  • @Luckney1

    so true.

  • Make sure the rail isn't made of pigiron or you get a snake head. Hope it's on video HAHAHa I love my dark evil brain it's full of blood and demons

  • awesome

  • they invent the worlds fastest train but need birth control pills to stop there scum race growing

  • There's difference between population base and birth rate. The fertility rate in China is about 1.72 per woman of 2009, and it is 1.93 per woman in Australia in 2009. In the mean time India has fertility rate of 2.68 per woman in 2009. The large population in China was a problem caused by Mao in 1950s, but since 1980s, strict one child policy-birth control policy has even made birth rate at low level of 14/1000 ppl the same as that in USA, ranked 136 in the world.

  • lol Coming from someone who can't differentiate between "there" and "their".

  • there was no such thing back then, no country had that. back then they needed lots of sons/daughters to help in the farm. wouldnt say scum race, i mean me an american arent to be proud of what we done, and either are you, descents of prisoners.

  • Not as scum as your own race.Your country survives on money from our scum race.Poor little pet of a scum race!

  • In POLAND we have trains going about 280 km/h On EURO 2012 we suspect to get magic barier 300 km/h

  • really ??

  • @Giorgiio69 TRUE xD

  • thats still only 186mph

  • 280 km/h is almost the limit of the older rail system. To pass that you will need new rails, which cost a lot.

  • What does high speed and china quality = twisted metal and blood stains. Give it a year you will see.....

  • China operated trains for ages, and this isn't their first highspeed rail, they have years of experience. China's infrastructure is top notch and rail accident rarely happens. Don't be hating at progress.

  • speaking from someone who is living in a country, who always has derailed trains, failing cranes from building high rises, collapsed bridges.

  • Sounds a bit sour,dear!

  • prawie jak PKP

  • WANT :D

  • The US needs to build one of these in Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iraq. What's a few tillion dollars more? No big deal.
