Steve is the man!!! I live here in TN and looking to supercharge my S2K. They only person I'll trust is Steve. I've heard great things about him on S2Ki forums. The problem for me is deciding on the roots or the SOS kit. I love sound of the roots but I don't like how they have to relocate the battery.
i really like the sound of the blower on a 4 cyl. the s2000 has such a mechanical feel and that sound just adds to it. i'm assuming 5-10psi on the stock motor?
last time it was on the dyno it was Mase's dyno dynamics dyno which typically read pretty low and it was 370whp. on a dynojet dyno it would be more like 390whp. the owner had some custom pullies made for more boost so we'll head out to a dynojet and see what it's doing before too long, then we'll have some numbers that are easier to compare to normal dynos.
not sure about the 0-60, never g-tech'd it, probably under 5 seconds. last time at the track it ran 13.1 @ 111mph, there's definitely more in the car, the owner just needs to get used to it at the track.

Does this kit come with everything you need like the SOS. I can't decide which one too get. I heard this one has more power lower end then most SC.

@0landese the kit is complete and you have a much broader powerband than a centrifugal blower setup.

as far as his kit vs the SOS he has the same peak power at the same boost but a ton more midrange.

in this video it's 6psi if I remember right. now it's 9.5 psi.

the motor can handle 500whp with the stock bottom end and pump gas, the blower is only good for about 400whp though.

what kind of power is it making. i know blowers respond pretty well to higher compression, which the f20/22's have.

hehe, exactly. My other car, other than the turbo s2k, is a mini cooper S and it sounds similar, although not as fast :D You're on S2ki right?
