This takes me right back to the old Pink Elephant nightclub in Southgate North London. This was playing the first time I got in there when I was 16. Top times - and a top tune of my yoof.
Pour obtenir un meilleur son, vous pouvez acheter tous les vinyles "Prelude Records" (entre autres) les yeux fermés car les fabricants sortent de nouvelles platines de qualité.
long hot summer of 1983 best year of my life - last really good year of the London and home counties jazz funk soul scene - great Caisters, Bournemouth weekenders, Maze in London, last good Level 42 stuff, Jazzy Dee, Second Image, great Streetsounds albums
I love it for longer than forever, brilliant, funky, groovy and unique. They cant make this stuff anymore it is deeply original material. Spitzeklammer auf " IT GROOVES" spitzeklammer zu. GEIL UND EINZIGARTIG.
Rinsed it when it first came out, and always got major love from the house heads in 90's and 2k onwards. A killer Nick Martinelli cut. Prelude was always waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead, and they still are baby. !!!!!!!!!

Hi DJ, thanks for making my 1983 a great year with this tune, I bought it back then and wondered why it was not a top 5 smash hit or even number 1 in England that year, it was crisp, fresh and upbeat, almost a perfect

@samikalastaja Those NYC early-mid 80s underground productions were just stellar, especially Prelude amongst others.

To obtain a better sound, you can buy all the vinyl " Prelude Records " (among others) blindly because the manufacturers take out new quality decks.

@clippers4me Unique was one of those one-hit studio creations. They might've put out another record or so but this was their only good track.

This reached no.27 UK pop chart in September 1983. It has stood the test of time or maybe I'm just an old soul-head.

This sounds so late '82 or early '83. The synthesizers were just right, nothing overdone. Too bad that changed after 1983.
