  • Repo Man's always intense.

  • @1:57 this also applies to sex....the more sex you have, the less intelligent you are! word up my friends.

  • One of the greatest films ever made :)

  • Where is Harry Dean Stanton in this Trailer? I always see him credited as the first actors name...

  • Repo Man: The final word on cult films of the 80s.

  • still one of my favorite movies... ever

  • I don't want no Commies in my car!... No Christians, either!

  • what the

  • Did you do a lot of acid...back in the hippy days?

    Hahahaha xD

  • New to the cult, bought the Movie because I recently acquired the "Essex Towing" Tow Truck located only 10 miles from this scene. My truck was built on Olympic Blvd also only blocks from "Pete's Repair" also on Olympic Blvd, "Plate-O-Shrimp" - Anyone? Alex?

  • One of the best cult classic movies! A must see...because

Pablo Picasso was never called a asshole...go rent it or die~

    Great soundtrack!

  • As a person who has never seen this movie (I'll change that soon) this has to be one of the most confusing trailers I have ever seen. I'm still all like "Wuh?" Oh well.

  • @JohnnyXFay It's highly likely that you'll still be saying "Wuh?" even AFTER seeing the movie!

  • @JohnnyXFay

I've seen it about 10 times, it gets better with each viewing because you're always catching stuff you missed . Every single line of dialogue is quotable, and there's tons of background shit going on you have to watch for.

  • This is a classic and must-see!

  • Trailer of the day!

  • who is th repo man and what does he do foe a living

  • I had a lobotomy back in the hippy days.

  • Repo Man >>>>> Repo Men

  • @Francozilla Word to that. Repo Men wasn't really that terrible, but definitely not as fun and entertaining as this movie!

  • @spamanator666 I tried watching "Men" several times, but often found myself wanting to do something else, unlike "Man" which always keeps me glued all the way. So.. I'd take Repo Man over Repo Men ANYTIME. Just me saying.

  • @Francozilla And Repo >>>> Repo Man >>>> Repo Men :D

  • the more you drive the less intelligent you are

  • @diveairswimfly

I ate a plate of shrimp back in the hippy days

  • you had a lot of acid miller back in the hippie days?haha

  • I love this film! I like the canned food labeled "food"!!!

  • my favorite movie l.a sci fi

  • Emilio Estevez is HOT! Have you guys seen Three for the Road with brother Charlie Sheen? He is HOT too!

  • It's interesting that the tag number on the '64 Malibu, in the beginning of this trailer is different than the one at the end. Zander Schloss seems to have created the Napoleon Dynamite character long before Jon Heder used it. Straight to Hell was another Cox classic and favorite of mine.

  • my fav movie from the 80's ;)))

  • @87RepoMan

    90s too

  • @RoberTastic yeah but 80's is magic, 90's is.......... mmh carefree ;))

  • can't believe there's no harry dean stanton in the trailer, he is amazing in this film.

  • Wasn't it the bomb he was talking to Otto about in the car. That seemed obvious to me. Fits in something as small as a suitcase, destroys people, and he invented it.

  • but it may be possible the backing band was The Plugz since Iggy Pop doesn't play instruments which would make it The Plugz version. Its also slightly different from the version with Iggy's vocals. I believe the Juicy Bananas was also The Plugz and all the other instrumental music in the movie.

  • the name of the song is repo man but its not iggy pop's version. ive heard its by the plugz... couldnt find it anywhere.

couldnt enjoy it anymore hm hmm hmmm

  • @alelovato It is by Iggy Pop, written for this movie as the title song. The Plugz have a number of songs on this movie's soundtrack too, but the theme is by Iggy Pop.

  • Comment removed

  • @spamanator666 The Plugz have two of the best songs on the whole of the soundtrack - especially the closing sequence. Top band.

  • @spamanator666 The opening one is by the Plugz and Iggy Pop does the one at the end. Iggp Pop is also the one that is on the soundtrack.

  • This might be my favorite movie of all-time. I can't think of anything better. It never gets old. juicy bananas needs to make full length album.

  • awesome movie

  • fuck this loooks greeaat

  • The ending was very disappointing.

  • rented this movie, great movie. I wish this movie had modern effects. That actress was really cute.

  • "Did you eat a lot of acid back in the hippy says, Miller? " I love that line!

  • Can someone please tell me what song this is?

  • @ExhumedAnatomy Indeed I can! Look up Repo Man by Iggy Pop and you'll find it.

  • I hate the fact that if I go to my local HMV now and browse through the DVD's Repo Man isn't there...but Repo Men, some lame crap with Jude ' I'm not bald!' Law and Forest 'Guess I can do anything now I've won an Oscar' Whittaker is! Grrrr!

  • @destructivedandy

Repo Man is in my local dvd rental place. There is a special edition I haven't seen yet. If you haven't already done so, ask the clerk if they have it.

  • 1980z rule.........by far the most fun decade of all time

  • Nobody knows what was in the trunk. I think it was the green globe from Heavy Metal.

  • what was in the trunk I dont remember its been like 20 yrs or more since i saw this movie

  • @pdxeddie1111 was it an alien body?

  • @pdxeddie1111 I think what was in the trunk was whatever was in the box in "Kiss Me Deadly." I believe it was later put into a briefcase.

  • Yes, I would pay for a true HD version of this film.

  • "Let's go get sushi... and not pay"

  • the movies medocre ..but some great classic quotes and great soundtrack from the punk rock era

  • So good a film I named my band after the film...

  • What a great, great movie. I've probably seen it a couple hundred times since it came out in 84. Damn near got it memorized.

  • My next career.

  • Can someone please explain what its about please?

im quite interested to know what its like

  • @VietWaLkA it is about Emilio Estavez who finds salvation from the empty American dream and start working as a repoman for out of norm wild bunch. Tl;dr: one of the all-time best movies ever.

  • @inhmn thanks man!!!!!!!!!!!!! ima try to dwl it

  • @VietWaLkA Well, then I suggest you see it.

  • eyes melt ,skin explodes Ev ree body dead.

  • Pernicious nonsense!

  • "Happens all the time. People just explode. Natural causes."

  • haha bye bye cop

  • This movie introduced me to Black Flag. Thank you Repo Man.

  • The same year as The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai..., the only movie more quotable! yeah

  • God I love this movie. Sheer genius, and yeah, the most quotable ever.

  • such a great movie! I think this was the first thing I ever videotaped back in the 80's

  • Whats that light in the trunk?

  • My favorite movie! this and Fight Club

  • I watched Repo Man again recently. I didn't realize how much Pulp Fiction drew from this.

  • Repo Man is always intense!

  • Emilio's finest film! (With Maximum Overdrive in second place).

  • I hate how people keep on confusing this with Repo Men, first off this movie is way better and second off they have nothing to do with eachother

  • Notice I got sushi.....and didn't pay!

  • Let's go do some crimes!

  • I might like this movie.

  • Man! Why were movies so awesome in the 80's and movies today suck so hard? I would rather stay at home and watch Repo Man, Evil Dead II, Vampire Hunter D, This is Spinal Tap, Bad Taste, and Conan the Barbarian over and over again than to go to the theater to see one of these mediocre newer films.

  • mmmm i fancy a plate o shrimp after watching this. why is that?

  • @AntiGravDisclosure oddly enough i had a plate of shrimp with some rice before watching this movie for the first time... cosmic unconsciousness? i think so my friend :]

  • I just watched this movies for the first time since I was a kid when it was new. I don't know if they intended it to be so ridiculous or it just came out that way. The "gang members," Otto's old friends, acted nothing like hardcore tough guys, and the whole "I blame society" thing when they rob the store and get shot just cracks me up. His dying words were "I blame society." Hillarious!

  • amm I didn't quite understand what is this movie about

  • Comment removed

  • Doesn't this story about Otto bare resemblance to the story of the radioactive boyscott David Hahn he kept radioactive material in barrels in a shed. When it got to radioactive, he decided to move it to the trunk of his plymouth.

Later policed stoped him when he tried to steel wheels from another car, and they found some pretty radiating stuff in his trunk.

Anyone more who see resemblance of the stories, problem is David hahn the radioactive scout was after the movie.

    A real stargate story.

  • this movie is life changing

  • I love that Michael Nesmith of The Monkees is the Executive Producer.

  • loved this. wanted to be emilio, and pathetically emulated him down to the haircut and shirt. only thing is - his parents were losers. mine were actually responsible, and strict, and therefore posed much more of a challenge to my rebellion!

  • "Suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp, suddenly somebody'll say like, 'plate' or 'shrimp', or 'plate of shrimp' outta the blue, no explanation." LMAO XD

  • All hail Alex Cox!

    Of a time.

    Of a place.

    I was there.

  • "The more you drive, the less intelligent you are" only a homeless guy could come up with such a quote XD

  • This is probably Emilio's best movie, by far. I know it's my personal favorite. Gotta love it! I think I'm gonna go make me a plate of shrimp right now....

  • I think it sums Americas love affair with tabloid culture perfectly.

  • I used to watch this movie over and over again as a kid, bought the soundtrack too and loved it. Got it on dvd recently (about 10 years since the last time i watched it) and I still like it!

  • pernicious nonsense

  • This is a really good looking HD version - where did you get it? It's not on the current Universal/Focus DVD, much to my chagrin.

  • Keep having to remove comments from lame ass spammers! This movie is called Repo Man, it's a cult classic. This is not that mediocre new flick called Repo Men that you're trying to get us to your website with. If you're going to spam at least spam the right trailers!

  • @spamanator666 well, they know most people will make the mistake looking for repo men

  • @arsenalmn Uhhhh, yeah, I did. Compared to this it's mediocre.
