i saw when that little boy was throwing up. that was sad! his mother should have been taking care of him, not having an interview about something they obviously staged. they are starving for attention. they were on wife swap before this happened. but that wasnt enough. and when the parents asked the boy why he didnt come out of hiding in the attic the boy replied "You said we were doing it for a show" they are looking for their 15 minutes of fame. its exactly what they wanted. theyre noticed now

As for the enlightened electorate, it doesn't quite exist due largely to the complexity of more serious issues and the media efforts on all sides to twist the basic facts to suit their own biases. i completely agree , i've given up on american media. They through small things completely out of proportion, and they try to jam it down our throats 24/7. Lately i've been watching the BBC World News , it's pretty good , and accurate. The only down side is you need to have the like optimum digital cable box to get it. cause its on the higher channels.

Luckily for me I live in the UK where we have the BBC which is normally superb, but it depresses me when on other sites gossip about a reality tv show is the headline (really? Why is television in the news??) and yet 3 or 4 stories down we see "Pakistan bomb blast kills 50". Everything we see nowadays is being dumbed down. Thank fuck for the economist.
