  • This is my favourite movie scene... it's just so good!

  • I agree, total epicness...my favorite part of the movie.

  • They should've totally ended the film at this point, would of been an epic finish!

  • When you hear this and are moved to tears, it's because the love of God has been programmed into your soul, and He is calling you to himself. Cry out to Him with all your heart and watch what will happen over the subsequent days.

  • "Clair de lune (from 'Suite Bergamasque')"

Written by Claude Debussy and arranged by Lucien Cailliet

    Performed by The Philadelphia Orchestra

    Conducted by Eugene Ormandy

    Courtesy of Sony Classical

By Arrangement with Sony Music Licensing

  • This film is genius! FUCK!

  • One of the best scenes in film history, EASY !

  • This IS the reason why Ocean's 11 is one of my favorite movies

  • Simpsons made this funny again

  • beautiful.

  • i was in that very spot in vegas last year when a woman fell in the fountain just next to me, always nice to remember when i see this film

  • on my life list: visit this fountain.

  • Good bye & Farewell .. without any words ... best scene ever!

  • @alekesam thank you !

  • "I Did note make claire de lune" lol

  • OMG! PLEASE! just tell what the name of the soundtrack. I know that it is Clair de Lune, but it's not the real one!!

  • @ZahiraDrogba This version is on the Ocean's 11 soundtrack. Go get it as it's a great soundtrack.

  • i love the way the all walk away one by one.... the music is perfect for the scene this is what they call movie magic how the pull u in with the combination of powerful music, moving picture and dramatic stories

  • Uno de los mejores finales de películas. Claro de luna de Debussy de fondo, y ver a Brad Pitt, ya hace que la película sea buena. Mejor aún con todos esos millones que se robaron del casino jajaja. Un final feliz!!

  • love this for life

  • I was in Vegas at the end of August and i did the same thing. Sit there and watch the fountains go, thinking of this song/movie.

  • you just made me miss bernie mac more

  • Ahem! Is this Cailliet's orchestration of Clair De Lune?

    Thanks!

  • @bobleonard1 I'm not sure, but I think it's the Philadelphia Orchestra.

  • @tyty7777777

Philadelphia...in its prime..I miss it so much!!!

  • @bobleonard1 I just found a few other of Cailliete's orchestrations of Clair De Lune. The movie's music is his orchestration, by the Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Eugene Ormandy. For quite a while, Leopold Stokowski's orchestration was popular. Later, Caillete, himself a horn player, orchestrated it. Debussy wrote it in 1890,but later despised it and rewrote it and published it in 1905. Debussy's 1905 piece was primarily a piano tune, with fewer instruments.

  • One of the best scenes!

  • claire de lune

  • all time favourite movie ending!

  • I love the way in movies everyone loves criminals yet in real life when CCTV images of burglaries and the like are posted people generally comment: "lock them up and throw away the key"

  • yes i teared up big time haha

  • did anyone else almost tear up in the end

  • this might be my favorite movie ending ever written. the song, the fountain, and 10 fantastic actors.

  • 3 to 6 months later...

  • one of the best scenes in a movie, god damn i love the ocean's series. even 12, lets give it a little love ;D

    ok maybe not 12 :P

  • and everyone leaves as shadows amongst the crowd

  • R.I.P. Bernie Mac :( still can't believe it.

  • @yawkeyway897 me neither!

  • that u so much for posting this i love this sceane

  • Goosebumps...

  • Tyszka, incredibly insightful and well said! You noticed something I had not thought of. What a perfect ending to a really entertaining movie!

  • Soooo Smooth!!

  • Gran final!!!!, nada como robar un casino y despues ponerse a contemplar todo con claire de lune, Alucinante.

  • I know it's a good music, but that's the funny thing in that scene. The movie is funny and they used a classic piece for the ending 8D

  • They should of actually ended the film with this scene and scrapped the other 2 sequals

  • Can you get Nesscafe in the jail ?

  • Fun Fact: During this scene the actors were told to leave when they thought it was best. I think it's interesting that Carl Reiner and Mat Damon were the last to leave. Mat, being the youngest leaves with the youthful enthusiasm of a twenty something who’s ready to explore the world, Carl Reiner gives a meaningful grin like he's thinking about all the wonderful time's had. I just think this juxtaposition is just as beautiful as the song.

  • @Tyszka7 and of course Brad Pitt would leave first :P

  • @Tyszka7 I totally agree. I think the order shows amazing symbolisation, which makes it even better when I discovered that they didn't even plan for it. I love the scene so much - it's one of my favourites of all time.

  • @Tyszka7 Honestly, that's the best comment I've ever seen on youtube after five years.

  • @Tyszka7 In the commentary didn't they say that Carl was the only one who was told to stay put but everyone else was instructed to leave when they thought best? At any rate, Steven shot this scene perfectly. This kind of stuff is what I missed in the two sequels.

  • @Tyszka7

You can watch Ocean's 11 a thousand times and still not notice all the details they've put into symbolism, inside jokes and character development. It's really a fantastic movie, and not just a funny con movie which I thought it was the first time i saw it.

  • @Tyszka7 just adds to my reasoning that this is one of the best movie scenes of all time

  • @Tyszka7 uhh...This is nice but Damon isn't the youngest. Scott Caan, Casey Affleck, and Qin Shaobo are all younger than he is.

  • n_n so nice song (fits here better than OTHER MOVIE)

  • This is one of the best and most elegant ending I have ever seen.

  • Every time I see this seen, I get the biggest goose bumps ever. Great choice of a soundtrack for a great movie.

  • The ending moves me to tears everytime. It's largley because of the song. Such beutiful music.

  • A-mazing!

  • That sound is soooo peaceful thanks for the upload.

  • I love.....TBS

  • Im going back again in June 2011 cant wait.. staying at the Bellagio :-)

  • superstar actors+belagio's display+ this song=the best movie ending in the world

  • i love this film so much! the ending is just mesmirizing aswell as the track on top, couldnt think of a better song!

  • i am crying!!

    realy!!!!!!!!!!

  • rusty: always on the move. lol

  • Brad Pitt Makes This Movie They Shouldnt Have Put Goerge Clooney In The Movie He Plays The Same Guy In All His Movies. Doesnt Talk Much, Smooth,Thinks He Knows It All. He Cant Act For Shit. Great Ending Tho.

  • This is a picture that is not talked bout until the actors in it, start to leave us. Bernard Jeffrey McCullough (October 5, 1957 – August 9, 2008). RIP

  • What Hotel/Casino are they inf front of?

  • @finalfantasy696969 the fabulous Bellagio Casino/Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Bellagio is your ultimate getaway and especially in Sin City, this is where you will want to stay. The famous dancing fountains will seduce you and their food will entrance you to another dimension. Did I answer you fucking question? lol jk

  • The best thing about this song is that it always brings out the best in people.

When you listen to this you're too relaxed to care about anything....

  • it's funny to know that this scene is of the entire movie so remembered.

i always thought that just me considered the best moment. really awesome.

  • @GBIRD2135 Did you know that this scene wasn't even scripted? The director just told them to leave whenever they felt it was right. Pure brilliance.

  • @GBIRD2135 Did you know that the director just told them to leave when they felt it was right? This scene wasn't even scripted. Pure brilliance.

  • @lovingmurderer That's awesome. It worked so well, too.

  • i wanna smoke a blunt in front of the bellagio listening to this song with my mp3 player, undisturbed, just relaxed.....

  • My favorite part of the movie. Amazing Song!

  • South Park copied off this movie in the episode when Obama became president and they robbed the Hope Diamond from the Smithsonian, they even played the song at the end, lol

  • The finish amaze me !!!

  • One of the best endings to a spectacular film. Great cast, great plot, amazing ending.

  • what a beautiful scene, just wow. i'll remember this as long as i live.

  • LOL at :51 Matt.... Damon....

  • @GBIRD2135 It's a little off because I overlaid the recording of the song over the video for better audio quality. I thinks it's better, too.

    Caps much, though?

Please, when I read this I just picture someone yelling your comment in my face.

  • will go down as one of the best scenes in the 21st century

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • @rkinwatauga You're welcome!

  • Now that's a happy ending. This is what made me fall in love with Claire De Lune.

  • i think think this clip would work with the Grand Duel by Luis Bacalov going from 1:55

  • Why would you walk away from those fountains. They are so beautiful. Nothing is quite like it in the world. The fountains really speak to people.

  • @Mikelivingston882

Cause they each have $13 million and the craps tables are calling.

  • How could you ever walk away from those fountains. They are so mesmerizing and gorgeouds

  • nice music.....

  • Yeah, now that's the ending to this movie - not the shit other people have been posting. Great film - got to see them shoot some of it as I was in Vegas at the time.

  • What an iconic ending

  • best film ever

  • i agree wit everybody here.. Great ending.. Im currently watchin oceans13.. Ok movie.. But thanks for uploadin this.

  • The most perfect scene in modern filmmaking.

  • this is a professional director's job...and i absolutely adore it....

  • The original piano version is better.

  • i love this movie.

  • beautiful

  • I would have been happy if this is how then ended this movie. It's a tremendous and thoughtful ending that's only sullied by the lame sequels.

  • Well, this IS how the movie ends, maybe you have seen a cut off version. if you like it check the original dvd.

  • I mean that it cuts from the scene here to Pitt getting Clooney out of jail and those two guys following them as the credits roll hinting at a follow up. I really like the swelling of the music and them parting ways. Great caper movies shouldn't have sequels.

  • @Cyberthube I think they mean it would have been best to end the series here and not make any sequels. I have no opinion on the matter

  • @jimfath actually the sequals were good and im glad they made more. i want them to make another oceans.

  • THANK YOU for posting this. it's my favorite scene in the movie. and it is one awesome movie...lol.
