Going into Iraq isn't even about Politics, but it's about common sense. If you got papers with photos saying your girlfriend is cheating on you, what are you going to do? The one thing no one ever brings up anymore about the Iraq war and the subject of WMDs is that Sadaam never stopped UN weapon inspecters from going into Iraq and making sure he never started another chemical or nuclear weapons program.

Any country that has ever went to war in Afghanistan has lost. Look it up. The only country to never go to war with Afghanistan is Germany even before it was a Roman territory (Germania), in European History, they have said time and time again "Afghanistan is where armys go to die". From the Mesopotamians to the Ancient Macedonians, Rome (the empire), Itatly, Russia, and the U.S. And to top it off the USSR went bankrupt because a war there.

So you can't say its a loss. For it to be a loss they would have to invade the invaders country and that hasn't happened. The one thing no one ever brings up anymore about the Iraq war and the subject of WMDs is that Sadaam never stopped UN weapon inspecters from going into Iraq and making sure he never started another chemical or nuclear weapons program.
The day Sadaam was given the ultimatum to leave Iraq he must of been shocked that it actually happened.

Iraq was a huge mistake and Afghanistan is an even bigger mistake. A war with them bankrupted the former Soviet Union.... after 9 years (?) of pointless fighting. The only country to never go to war with Afghanistan is Germany even before it was a Roman territory (Germania), in European History, they have said time and time again "Afghanistan is where armys go to die". From the Mesopotamians to the Ancient Macedonians, Rome (the empire), Itatly, Russia, and the U.S. And to top it off the USSR went bankrupt because a war there.

So you can't say its a loss. For it to be a loss they would have to invade the invaders country and that hasn't happened. Afghanistan has a social aspect to it in which the mentality leans toward expelling 'the outsiders' first, and dealing with internal tribal disputes after the infidels leave... Actually 2 are democrats, 2 are conservative and one is a progressive or centrist so it is pretty much split depending on the issues, they do have different opinions from their general political views but no they are are evenly split... I watch the show everyday btw, the opening segments are the best to get a true sense of who they are individually. Check into it before saying such derogatory and debasing statements towards women's genitalia, ok? Oh and Obama wasn't even running when he was on.

I watch that show every day! Sherri didn't vote for McCain because of her mistrust on his economic policies and Palin as a pick. Which is the REAL conservative thing to do! She is annoyingly religious and that has no place in politics IMO. Hasselbeck gets all her talking points from FOX, which is a propaganda & ratings machine (leans to fascism and dictatorship), Whoopi is extremely rational and progressive, Walters democrat but has enough experience to not be liberal. McCain was in a really tough position. He couldn't betray his republican base and say the Iraq War was wrong. He couldn't do it and have any chance of winning. He also had to find a way to say let's move in another direction and end this war without going against Bush and Cheney. So, I really think his party put him in a bad position.
