I also wanted to add I bought the "doomsday" edition which includes Move Wand, navigation controller, PS Eye cam, and the plastic gun accesory called Sharp Shooter. Those things work very poorly with Resistance 3. I mean it works, but there is no way you'll be able to turn fast enough for it to be effective. Good for sports games like Golf and Tennis.

This is a decent PS3 exclusive game. It has nice robots, aliens and explosions. OK, that said , this is not the best looking ps3 exclusive PS3 game. The NPC movements are sort of limited. That could be ok too. The worst cmoplaint I have is that it is still in 720p resolution max, it does not go to 1080i or 1080p. I have both systems, and the Xbox at least upscales their games to 1080i if they are not 1080p. There are some 1080p games on PS3, MGS4, Uncharted games, Katamari Forever, but this no

A few issues i have. WHY U NO USE MAGNUM! It has exploding rounds! And the gun that shoots behind walls is the Auger. And it can shoot through its barrier too. I don't like how they changed the design though. And the stalkers aren't supposed to move nearly that fast. Oh well I'll just have to wait and see for myself.

Soldier the point of the gun that puts up the shields is 1) you can shoot through walls and also 2) you put up the shield and then shoot through it to hit the enemy...you don't have to pop out. Good review otherwise, especially since you haven't played the previous two.
