wasnt the efx, was my error on the auto start.. for some reason i had it turned on, and when i dropped the level for a beat to re-introduce it, it reset it back to the cue pt, not to where it was origionally beatmatched :(

Try making the actuall crossover more sudden, let's say that you beatmatch while playing deck A on the master, play deck B for x beats, then move the crossfader very rapidly to the center, having tweaked the equalizer alot, wait x2 more beats while bringing in more and more of the song from deck B using eq and taking away more from A with eq and then bring the crossfader all the way to B.
