For the past five week's I've been conducting an experiment on the Crab Pulsar using the 42-foot telescope. It is literally the best thing I have done in my life.
I have looked into deep space at the remnant of a dead star which exploded over a thousand years ago. The supernova lit up the night like a sun; it was visible in the daytime for 23 days. And the stellar core, to this day, spins 50 times a second blazing plasma into space from its poles at the speed of light. I love my Universe :D
Its a great sight, I passed jodrell bank today after a pub lunch at The Red Lion I might add, a bit pricey but AMAZING COD, CHIPS AND MUSHY PEAS! Serious! :D
its a shame British Science comes so low on the list, but hey we have the most violent druged up football supporters on the Earth......says it all really.
